Monthly Rentals in Scaly Mountain

Elizabeth was very thoughtful in how she furnished and decorated the space. It had everything we needed for a mini 2-night getaway. Beautiful indoors and out, quiet and peaceful, games and solitude, we didn’t need to leave the guesthouse for anything. We would absolutely come again and hopefully for a longer visit!

Good spot to stay for a wedding at The Vineyards at High Holly. The space was cute, well decorated and had all the amenities including lots of board games which we made great use of! The house is older so floors are a bit creaky when others are sleeping. I would also download/screenshot the instructions for getting to the house, wifi password, and door code as we lost all cell service when we were 5 minutes from the house. Overall a beautiful place though and we would stay again if we had a reason to be back in the area!

Absolutely loved staying at Matthew and Beverly’s place! The open scenery and view of the mountains was amazing to wake up to each morning. Exploring their land and the creek was just enough adventure for me! We will definitely be back.

This is a beautiful, clean and well appointed residence set in the trees with incredible views. The space is very open with large windows out to phenomenal views of the mountain and a comfortable outdoor seating area. The home has everything that we needed and nothing else which was fantastic since there was no clutter. The linens were lovely and the entire aesthetic very clean. The driveway is a bit steep so definitely better to arrive in daylight is possible so you can get accustomed to that but once you get a good start at the bottom and stay consistent on the gas the existing is no issue. The host was helpful and responsive to all questions. Also Amazon delivers here in case you forgot anything. Finally, the area is great if you want peace and privacy with the options for restaurants, and activities within 20 mins drive up of down the main road. Hope to return! Thank you
