A pleasant place to stay. Very quiet and relaxing. The house has everything you need, well equipped. And a big garden. The surroundings are beautiful, signposted walks start nearby. We enjoyed the walk along the old railwaybridge to the Valtenberg. National Park Sächsische Schweiz (hiking) is 30 minutes by car and Dresden is also a 30 minutes ride by car. Lots to see there. Becky and Mario are easy to talk to. Friendly hosts. We had a great week and recommend Mühlenhof Putzkau.

We had wonderful days in Saxon Switzerland! We had everything we needed for the stay, everything was sparkling clean and especially in the conservatory we liked to sit and look into the green garden. The accommodation is relatively rural, and if you pay attention, you might even see a fox or two. You can quickly reach Bischofswerda or Neustadt, where you have good shopping facilities. The apartment is a great starting point for excursions to Dresden and the surrounding area, to the Elbe Sandstone Mountains or to the National Park. Car is highly recommended, but it has its own parking space on the property😊.
