The lovingly decorated house has a beautiful view of the forest, a large eat-in kitchen, fireplace and underfloor heating. In the village there are 3 lakes with natural swimming areas and an outdoor pool. Hiking in the nature park, cycling, reading in the hammock, grilling, relaxing, cooking together, sitting by the campfire or working in peace - all this is possible here.

Relax in this special and quiet accommodation, picturesque village Ihlow, in the Märkische Schweiz (5km walk through the forest to Buckow), 55km east of Berlin. You can swim in the Reichenower Lake (3km) or in the Grosser Thornowsee. If you don't have a car, you can get there by bus or bicycle (18km) from Straussberg Nord station. We love contrasts - In Schloss Lanke, we rent a spacious 100 sqm loft in the attic. A castle loft. French Neo-Renaissance on the outside, subtle minimalism on the inside. Urban living comfort meets the lush nature of the Barnim Nature Park. Both together create the perfect setting for rest, relaxation and deceleration. In addition to vacation rentals, Schloss Lanke also houses the owners' apartments as well as office space on the first floor. We respect our privacy.

Small cottage in the Uckermark on a historic four-sided farm in a secluded location. The house is designed very openly, it has two floors and a sleeping loft. Ideally suited for 2 people. Third sleeping place available. Comfortable and tastefully equipped. Large idyllic farm garden to relax. The farm is very quiet on a dirt road on the edge of a nature reserve. Many lakes and the small town of Boitzenburg with its beautiful castle are very close.

In our garden, a lot is different: the bedrooms are like squirrel dens, the bath is under the starry sky and the shower in the middle of the greenhouse. Maybe there are vegetables and fruits in abundance - everything is organic here. Ask if that appeals to you, we'll sell you something. Because of the great views over the fields, the chirping and the location on the outskirts, we chose our little piece of land. Come and see!

The small farm

A hideaway in the countryside! A small but nice construction trailer on the small farm, in the middle of the Uckermark. The trailer is located on a farm in a village location on a 1.3-hectare property. Lake Ucker is about 500 m away as the crow flies (road longer!) Prenzlau is just under 2 km away. In the main house, there is a small guest kitchen and a private shower room. Perfect to escape the stress of the city!

The Birkenhof Uckermark - farmhouse with sauna

“Less is more” – This is one of the golden rules for good design, which guided us in the restoration of our farm in the Uckermark. The Birkenhof includes several acres of land with meadows, fruit and vegetable gardens and our small birch grove, which gave the farm its name. The farmhouse is ideal for families or small groups. The farmhouse can also be rented together with the stable building and laundry.
