Amazing host who went above and beyond by decorating the place with happy birthday banners and balloons for my Mums stay for her 60th birthday. The place has so much character and is in such a perfect location

Lovely little place, perfect for a get away break. The hottub was great to relax in. The goats are gorgeous and so friendly. The family dog was a welcome visitor. Amazing to sit and listen to the birds and look at the beautiful scenery.

We love Rambling Rose Cottage! Dawn is a great host - all the extras - wine and chocolate on arrival, things like salt and even tea, coffee and milk to get you started. My daughter loves this cottage so it’s becoming a tradition to come for her birthday! Thanks so much Dawn! We will be back!

Fantastic house in beautiful surroundings - we were a group of 11 and the house was so well equipped with everything we needed. The online guidebook provided in advance was very thorough and helpful with recommendations for the local area and information on the house amenities. Would definitely stay again with a group and would recommend to anyone!

Had an amazing weekend at Rachael's caravan, this was our second visit and we 100% plan on coming again. Rachael is a wonderful host who is easy to contact and she takes pride in her beautiful caravan. The caravan was extremely clean, comfortable and very homely, as the weather was warm we spent most of our time outside on the decking which had plenty of seating space and the hot tub was a great added extra enjoyed mostly by the kids. There was plenty to do onsite including the swimming pool, a private dog park where you can let your doggos off lead and play. The staff at the main reception were friendly and helpful and the bar area was clean with lots food and drink options. We would highly recommend coming to stay at Serendipity and we will be visiting again.

We booked rather last minute and Maria was very responsive and flexible. The place was pristine and very comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped and the furnishings throughout are great! We felt very much at home! Maria was warm and welcoming and gave us good ideas for where to eat. We truly loved our stay!

A wonderful cottage in a beautiful location. We had a great stay as a family of 4 and the kids especially loved having the horses in the field out the front. Lucy was a great host! We would highly recommend.

This is our fourth stay at Lancaster House and we had another fabulous time. Great location & well suited to a family.

Would highly recommend to anyone! Pauline & Graham are lovely and helpful and the apartment had everything we needed. Their woodlands are a real treat, we were lucky enough to be there with sunny weather and we were free to have a picnic whenever we wanted to, an offer we gratefully accepted - we spent a lovely sunny afternoon reading and drinking tea there. Pauline & Graham are very passionate about the woodlands, their bees and the wildlife and told us about the owls, hedgehogs, foxes that occasionally visit their property. Their gentle dog Barney is a legend and loves to be pet.

What a beautiful place! We stayed as a family of 6 adults and 5 children, the children ranged in age from 15-3 and the house suited everyone. The kids loved the garden and the grandparents loved the places you could go for a little relax. The view from the top back bedroom is a beautiful sea view - just fabulous. The location is perfect for Runswick Bay beach and a walk along the Cleveland Way. It’s also a short drive to Sandsend and Staithes. The property is immaculate and is very well equipped for everything you might need. Highly recommended .

We had a wonderful stay at the Cow Shed. When we arrived, we thought it looked better than the photos! Christina was welcoming and really helpful. We really appreciated having a travel cot and highchair waiting for us! Our little boy loved seeing the goats and chickens in the gardens and there was plenty of toys for him to play with, he was delighted. The location was also really easy to get to and perfect for our family visit in Wetherby. We hope to come back again soon, thank you 😊

Jennifer’s place Derwent House East Wing is the perfect location if you want a peaceful and charming stay. More than you could wish for a quiet area with some restaurants and convenience store a very short walk away and a short drive to the coast and more beautiful surroundings. The bed was super comfy and the lounge just delightful. The added bonus of some walks from the back garden gate too. Would highly recommend and would definitely book again.

We had a great stay and my young kids adored the nice collection of books and toys to play with. Everything was as described and very comfortable!

Lovely stay. The only thing was the swimming pool needs modernising but the private access to the beach makes up for it. Nothing the owners can control.

Probably the nicest property I have stayed in at The Bay. Welcoming and homely as soon as we walked in. Immaculate and very well equipped. A lovely place to stay.

We spent 2 nights at the apartment. Everything was as described. The location is fantastic within a beautiful holiday village and only 5 mins walk to the amazing never ending sandy beach which is absolutely perfect for your four legged friend. Filey is only 5 mins drive with lovely shops and restaurants and bustling Scarborough only a 15 mins drive. Will definitely be back!

To say we booked it last minute we had a brilliant time! The bay is great, nice surroundings and the beach house we stayed in was perfect! Great host and excellent communication both prior to and on arrival day. Couldn’t ask for any more from Victoria. House is stunning with an abundance of locations to visit around you. The Bay complex is kept really clean. Ability to use swimming pool / sauna / steam room is an added bonus but busy when I visited (but was half term week). Short walk to beach but steep hill to be mindful of for anyone with disabilities. Beach is stunning also. Lovely little Beach Cafe short drive away also with excellent food / views. You won’t be disappointed if booking this accommodation.
