Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Sønderborg

We spent a week at the accommodation with our family. The house and garden are really great. There were so many play options for our child. The hosts were always very helpful and super nice. The amenities in the whole house were great. The furnishings are tasteful and modern. We lacked nothing. The shopping facilities are easy to reach by car, it is nice and quiet and very close to nature. The beach was great and easy to visit on foot. We were there with two dogs and there was also equipment for the two, which really pleased us. We can really recommend Vanessa's accommodation! Thank you for the great vacation

I had a great time in Fynshav. Close to the beach, bike/hiking trails right outside the door and a small supermarket just around the corner. Perfect location to relax and unwind. The accommodation was very clean and cozy - you felt right at home! ☺️ Everything was as described. The house also had documents with restaurant tips and a map of the area. I'd love to come back again - it was great! Highly recommended! ☺️

We've been there for the second time. It was just as beautiful as the first time. Except for the weather... :) But also very cozy in the rain.

The house is exactly as described. Great location on the water with private path to the Flensburg Fjord. Beautiful hiking trail in front of the front door that leads along the water. In the house are all utensils for a nice stay. We really enjoyed the long weekend!

Gustavo welcomed us very friendly, polite, showed us everything to know in the flat within a minute and hat valuable hints for dinner outside. We had a very cozy stay and enjoyed it very much! Thank you!

Traveling alone, 60+, May/June 2025, 5 days, without a car. Perfect for the first half of the Gendarmen Path, with local buses or rental bikes (in Grasten ;). Net directly in the picturesque village. The apartment really had EVERYTHING you could need. Very modern, artistic, cozy, Danish. Lajla was always available for questions and exchange by email (or cell phone), but everything was so well explained and directed on site that I could simply get into the holiday pleasure. Would come again:)

We found a super clean house. There is nothing to complain about at all and then to find a cleaned gas grill (is unfortunately a rarity, after 35 years of experience) I would also give more points for the house.

We had a very nice time in Christine's apartment because it was very nice and clean. Meanwhile, there is even a more beautiful sofa than can be seen in the pictures. The chairs in the outdoor lighting could possibly be exchanged for more comfortable ones. The location was not so ideal for us because public transport is rare, very expensive and relatively far away. But Christine was a very great host and we had a lot of peace and relaxation in the apartment.

We were very pleased! The apartment is small, but we had everything we needed. The view of the fjord and the garden is wonderful from the terrace and even from the bed! Caner is very friendly and uncomplicated. We would love to come back!

Helle and Peter's cottage is a small oasis in a busy world. Where we had a wonderful time with our family with two young children. The front garden overlooks the water, the nearby islands. And a stone's throw away is an idyllic harbor with fishing boats, a wooden boat that is being worked on on the slope. Everything in the area exudes tranquility, space and nature. And all that with a maritime atmosphere, something we really like. The space itself is super pleasant; small and nice. Very attractively decorated and everything is clean and pleasant. Finally, the hosts are pleasant, welcoming and relaxed. Highly recommended as far as we are concerned!

Charlotte has been a very nice hostess, a cheerful person who you can ask for advice at any time. Your dog and mine got along almost immediately :) I can really recommend the house to anyone who wants to switch off. We would be happy to come back. Best regards, David and Inka

I booked the accommodation on the day of arrival and still received a response from Eike immediately. The subsequent communication was also quick, friendly and uncomplicated. The location of the accommodation is simply fantastic - surrounded by fields and water, it offers pure idyll. We also liked the accommodation itself very much – everything we needed was available.

We were in Flensburg for a week and probably couldn't have had a better accommodation than the HYGGE apartment of Suse. Even before arrival, communication with her was always super uncomplicated, fast and friendly. Since we were traveling with our son (almost 3), we were even provided with a high chair and a travel bed, which saved us a lot of stress and space in the trunk. The apartment was quick and easy to find and we rarely felt at home so quickly when entering somewhere. It's like the name says "hygge". Small and fine. Very tastefully furnished and everything you need is available. If we had any questions, Suse was always available via the app and when we met her, there was always time for a little chat. The location is great if you want to get into the city quickly but still have your peace and quiet. We thank Suse from the bottom of our hearts and look forward to seeing her again.

Nice place near the center of Aabenraa. Easy and flexible check-in with lockbox. Good instructions before arrival so it was easy to find. The stairs to the apartment are very steep and Ejner definitely not for the elderly or anyone who are unsure of their legs. (it said it was steep in the description, so we were prepared for it). The bathroom occasionally had a sewer similar smell. The dampers in the shower stall had a few moisture stains and deposits of lime. Everything worked as it should.

Really cozy apartment, which had everything we needed. Super nice that linen and cleaning was included, it made the stay so easy and comfortable. We'd love to come again.

If you are looking for a quiet corner and want to escape everyday life, you can come here and enjoy it. The water in the pool was wonderfully warm and in April. There were also a few toys. My children had a lot of fun and feel comfortable here. The animals on the farm were also hospitable 😊 Shopping is 5 minutes from the house. The hosts had a lot of patience with the kids and answered all the questions 😊 A sweet welcome basket was at the table. We always love a little attention to the guest. Thank you for this! Clean, comfortable and peaceful. Great base for shopping in places such as Citti Park and Flensburg centre. Space for parking.

We spent the turn of the year in Schönhagen with peace and convenience. The apartment is located not far from the beach and is equipped with everything you need. We used the sauna in the basement to ourselves. The place is a good starting point for numerous excursions, especially even in warmer weather by bike. Thanks to Jan for the nice welcome.
