Holiday rentals with beach access in South Kona

Dani's place is so beautiful and peaceful. It's private and quiet, yet within just a few minutes' drive there is access to the beach, restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and cafes. She has very carefully created a sanctuary with attention to detail and all the amenities anyone could need; and she really goes out of her way to make one's stay so comfortable and memorable. What a gift to have been able to stay here!

Me and my friends had a girls trip and this was the best place we could've stayed at! The place was very clean and welcoming, nice and quiet to rest and relax at the end of the day! Coming and going was super easy, and checkout was stress-free. We would all recommend this place to all of our friends and stay here again!

My second time here -- the best house, with the kindest hosts. Well-stocked kitchen and living space, and I love this neighborhood so much.

One of my favorite Airbnbs I’ve stayed at and easily the best host I’ve had. We were given a tour and tons of local recommendations. The place itself was well decorated and felt very homey.

Thomas’s house was great! It was clean, comfortable, and beautiful! The kitchen had everything we needed, and we loved having access to the washer and dryer. It fit our family of 5 comfortably, and we appreciated the air conditioning, snorkel gear, and boogie board. There was great snorkeling nearby, and we loved walking across the street to drink our coffee by the ocean every morning! I would definitely stay here again!

Really liked this place. easy walk on alii drive to restaurants and local spots. 2-3 local beaches nearby. pool and the black rocks behind it with the ocean view was beautiful at sunset. Exactly what was expected! Safe area. Loved the extra touches like the macadamia nut pancake mix :)

Truly an oasis! Dana and Gregory are wonderful hosts and Rivendell was one of our favorite Air BnB stays. The apartment was spotless and well-stocked, the bed was so comfortable, and the hot tub was very well-maintained and heated quickly. Now for the best part! The landscaped property and waterfall made for peaceful mornings and restful evenings. We wished we were staying longer. Mahalo for the perfect weekend stay! We will be back!

Loved the ocean view and proximity to restaurants, beaches, and town. Easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Unit size was perfect for my husband and I. We felt comfortable and safe. Host was great at communicating and was very accommodating.

Our family ranging from 77 to 7 all agreed that the house exceeded our expectations. We appreciated the quiet setting with lots of places to walk {I think grandpa, walked them all}, the fully equipped kitchen, and the pool (of course). My grand daughter named the resident geckos and gave them all a fond goodbye. We had to drag our 16-year old off Magic Sands beach. We all enjoyed several snorkeling spots and splurged on a Fair Winds "Kona’s Best Morning Snorkel: Captain Cook & Kealakekua Bay." Many thanks.

Loved this place and Kaleo as a host! We stayed here for our son’s college graduation and it was perfect. Its location is near everything with a beautiful view out back. The house is spacious and has so many items in the kitchen - serving pieces, cooking utensils, pans and spices. It was perfect for hosting our family one evening. It is on a busy street and the airport is across the road, but it didn’t bother us. At night it was just white noise. The back deck was our favorite location. It is huge with a great view of the park and water. Kaleo was so nice, texting to make sure we were comfortable and even gave us a late checkout after graduation. Thanks!

Perfect home within walking distance to the beach. The lanai was a perfect hang out spot and we loved the extra provided nature gear and anything else you could possibly need for a day in the sun. Due to unexpected circumstance, which was not of any inconvenience to us, the host offered to extend our check out time on our last day free of cost, which was AWESOME as we had evening flights so extra time to relax and enjoy the island with a home base was BEYOND appreciated. Hosts communicated well and were very friendly. Whenever we return to Big Island, we hope to stay here again!

Simone's place was exactly as described. We appreciated the welcome gifts and local recommendations. The home was well stocked for common items and very walkable to downtown Hilo.

Mitch’s home was the perfect place to stay if you are going to Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park. It’s only a 5 min drive to the entrance. So close we could go back to the house for lunch daily instead of packing one to eat in the park. There was also Volcano Winery for wine tasting down the road!

Incredible place! Beautiful gardens. Walking distance to beach. Great location for day trips. Jill has an amazing attention to detail and the spacious studio displays all of her artistic prowess. It's truly a sanctuary to unwind and chill out. Do yourself a favor and book it for as long as your vacation allows.

We stayed at Susan‘s home the first week of June and really enjoyed it. She has everything you could possibly need as far as beach toys, umbrella, and a cooler. The bathrooms all had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and the kitchen was fully equipped, which was really nice. We even ended up using the grill outside. We had enough towels, and the house was clean. Overall, we had no complaints and would definitely come back.

We had a lovely stay at Mary’s place. The home is nestled in a lush, serene setting and was fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Mary and her property manager were responsive, helpful, and accommodating. We loved relaxing by the pool and taking evening walks to catch the sunset over the ocean at the nearby park. The kitchen was a joy to cook in, and we loved the open-air layout—it felt like a home away from home. Waking up to the sight and sounds of the ocean from the upstairs bedroom is something we’ll miss. Thank you, Mary, for graciously sharing your beautiful space with us! The memories our family made at this home are something we'll always hold dearly.

We loved staying here! The location was close to many things in the Kona area. The dedicated parking spot made it easy to come and go. The mini-split AC was quiet and kept the place cool. The in-unit laundry was great too.

Our stay here was perfect. Location was amazing right by the beach at a peaceful community, great for viewing sunrise/sunset. The place was just as pictured, very clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Amy's place was just the perfect condo for us. It had a great unobstructed view the ocean. and the sounds of the ocean along with the evening breeze wafting through the unit at night was heavenly. Having breakfast on the lanai was a treat each morning of our stay. Very private end unit on the second floor assured privacy with no one being able to look in or walk by. Quiet and away from the bustle of the tourist district. (except for one noisy Coqui frog in the bushes nearby). I chased it away enough to get it to stop for the evenings. A nearby market and Ali'i Gardens Marketplace with cool friendly people (plus great fish tacos!) is just a short walk away. Amy was attentive and provided good tips for our visit which was a great help. Will definitely visit again!

The beautiful ocean view from the lanai was our favorite place to be. Kitty’s place is located in the perfect spot to walk to shops, restaurants, and beaches. We enjoyed our time there and hope to be back soon!

Thank you for a Beautiful condo and experience! The view is Awesome! The Complex is a great placement for a mixture of sandy beaches, tide pools, and surf. The condo has great placement in the complex for accessibility to elevator, pool and amenities. Stephanie’s condo will make you feel right at home with housewares, extra beach accessories, A great welcome and suggestion book for the island and overall organized, tidy surroundings! We read reviews about bugs and a bad smell, however we had no issues with either. Place felt very clean and smelled great, has all the amenities and appliances that we needed. Even had a boogie board in the closet that we could use which was fun! Overall great place, right by tons of restaurants and stores as well as the shoreline.

This place felt like home, for my husband and I was ideal ,it felt peaceful and in a perfect area where we can walk to any near stores or restaurants. People that live in that facilities around were very pleasant .Overall a great place to a vacation home.
