Cabin holiday rentals in Southwest City

The space was beautiful and comfortable. Hot tub was clean and hot! 💜 I enjoyed the privacy of the valley this home is nestled in. There were neighbors, but it still felt private.

Very spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable and the deck made a great place to just hangout.

We had a short stay. Great location and just what we needed. Cute little set up!

Our staff had a great place to stay for our State Stroke Play Championship. We were very close to Shangri-La resort, the price was great for 4 people. Great patio, nice kitchen, hot tub and minutes away from a great golf course, par 3 course and Grand Lake. This place would be great for a family that wants to spend time at the lake. Great Host!

We could not have been more thrilled with finding this spot for a long weekend. It was everything we needed for a perfect weekend away. I really appreciated the small touches to make the space feel homey, the candles and the comfy blankets were a great addition. The hot tub and propane grill were all we needed. We even brought our kayaks and took out right from the water access at the end of the property. I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking to get away and want to spend time in the peace and quiet!

This cabin is always incredibly clean, well stocked and feels like home. We’ve stayed here many times and have never been disappointed.

Beautiful cabin away from city life! Exactly what was described and pictured. We enjoyed every second of this place. The hot tub was the perfect touch!

Cassie and Paul were super wonderful hosts who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The cabin was very clean and well supplied with everything we needed for kitchenware, bathroom toiletries, etc. The cabin was small, but setup in a very efficient way that gave us plenty of room for everything we needed. Paul and Cassie hauled us and our kayaks for a great kayak trip that ended conveniently on the river right outside our cabin. We also enjoyed activities in the nearby surrounding area like mountain biking, hiking, seeing the local waterfalls (especially the Tanyard creek waterfall) and Bluff Dwellers cave... Also, we so enjoyed just sitting in our chairs in the river that flowed directly outside the cabin... we will definitely consider coming back again!

Thank you for another fabulous stay at the river house! Our family LOVES this place. The kids spent hours playing outside and the adults enjoyed sitting by the river. Highly recommend!

The cabin was perfect for us and Gigi was very responsive to all text messages. She was able to adjust our stay quickly when plans changed. We really appreciated this. The driveway was a little steep and took some getting used to, but we did quickly adjust. The cabin is a little dark because of all the trees surrounding it, but that just made it cozy. the kitchen was furnished with every small appliance you could ask for. The silverware was a little sparse with only about 4 each of mismatched forks and spoons. Never did figure out how to operate the master bath's shower, so used the 2nd bath's instead. Lots of drawer and closet space. Loved the screened porch. 3 tv's programed for my streaming channels easily, however the remote for the master bedroom tv was missing. The firestick worked in there and we could watch the tv, but couldn't adjust the volume or turn it off without going to the tv. Gigi offered to change out to a ROKU that had volume control, but I told her it was ok.

It was my first air bnb and i loved it. melissa was so kind and helpful with the directions and everything. Would happily come back!

My buddy and I rented this cabin while we were fishing in a bass tournament at Grand Lake. This place had everything we needed and more and the parking was excellent for boat storage/covering during the storms. Place is conveniently located, close to several boat ramps and plenty of things to do when we were off the lake as well. Great restaurants and shopping in the area as well, that our wives thoroughly enjoyed. Will return and would highly recommend.

The pictures don’t do justice! This little place is absolutely perfect. Shay was extremely responsive and patient with me and my requests. I was here for only a short time, but if I am in the area again, this will be my first attempt for a place to stay! Loved everything about it!!

Peaceful retreat. The indoor and outdoor spaces are perfect for a lake weekend - we enjoyed the quiet views from the back deck and the ease of use of the boat ramp and dock. Added bonus special space for our dog!

The property is BEAUTIFUL & private! We loved being able to walk (very short distance) down to the river and jump right in. The river is in the back yard-Perfect! We were able to fish and our dogs went swimming. The home was perfect size for us and felt comfortable. Tara was helpful. I would recommend to anyone that is wanting some time at the River! We would love to come back & stay here again. We also felt safe with the locked gate & private driveway. The front yard was really nice too!

Our family enjoyed the private dock for fishing and relaxing. We saw several deer and chipmunks. The neighborhood is gorgeous and peaceful as we walked in the evenings. Everything we needed to travel to in Bella Vista was very close by. The home is decorated and furnished beautifully. Our kids enjoyed the extra space, foosball table, and dartboard. The kitchen appliances are top notch as well. There are a lot of stairs to get up and down from the deck to the docks and the driveway is pretty steep but it didn't prevent us from anything. The space is perfect for entertaining and hosting groups with multiple families.

We have a yearly get together and we needed a place close to the river. Well, it is on the river. We had a blast.

Awesome place to stay, beautifully decorated. Felt right at home. There was a large open ceiling with big beautiful windows to match. We came for the big bass bash competition and knew the weather was going to be messy at least for one day and the evening before. They were very accommodating. We got in a little late and they made sure the porch lights were on. They definitely went the extra mile for us. We had a great time there and would definitely recommend.

From beginning to end, everything was perfect. We were seeking solace, comfort & quiet - and got that! A few fireworks at night - but only a few and ends quickly. They have LOADED this place full of charm and amenities. I am a chronic over-packer who brings WAY too much - I didn't need to do that here. What they have v. what they list is ABOVE and BEYOND. From mosquito candles, to daily supplies, to comfort features like extra blankets & lovely robes, to small gifts of snacks left for us upon arrival - we were amazing in every space we entered or opened. This was the PERFECT place for my friend & I to chill for several days. There are hills (both ways) to walk to & from lake - but there's also parking & you don't want miss a lovely walk by the lake. There's so many restaurants & antique shops and the New Life Spa we hit was AMAZING! Coffee on the deck, daily adventures thru the country side & lots of R-n-R. We are already planning a return fall trip! Can't say enough about the Roost!

Melissa’s home was perfect, we felt right at home and it was the perfect place to bring our dog with the fenced in backyard and gate at the entrance on porch to the front carport, my dog loved it!! It was so nice and convenient to let him out and roam free like he can at home without having to leash him! The home was perfect minus couple very minor things; the bathroom upstairs was freezing otherwise it was fine. The grill worked except had to use a lighter as the igniter switch didn’t work which we got going and worked great! The home was nice and cozy! It fit our needs! My favorite was all the deer in the neighborhood and right in the backyard!! It was well worth the stay! Melissa was very responsive when I needed anything!! It was great to have such a host like Melissa! She followed through on everything she said!

If you’re looking for peace and quiet with nature! Stay here! It’s far enough away from town yet close enough to anything you need! The house was beautiful! The host was amazing! Amenities provided were fantastic! Oh and the kitchen countertops!!! GORGEOUS!

Juanita and her husband are amazing people. The home gorgeous the best bnb I've stayed at and I've booked several this year with travel. They have everything you could imagine coffee water snacks and more. The place felt like home in second everything inside was easy to find and there were even spare towels. Not only were they easy to find and offered an amazing home to stay. We had a flat the morning of check out and they came to the rescue as we did not have our jack to change the spare over. Her husband even helped with everything which we could never be more grateful for. They are million stars! Our heros and cant wait to stay with them on our next trip.
