Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Stalida

we had a great week at Maria's place. The covered terrace is the most beautiful room in the house with a magnificent view of the sea. The beach is less than 5 minutes' walk away, but beware, for people who have difficulty walking, the slope is rather steep to climb. Maria is very responsive and responds very quickly to messages. Agia Pelagia remains a small seaside resort very well located to visit the north of the island. Beautiful discovery

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

Lovely place to stay and well set up - we had a very comfortable couple of days Fabulous to be welcomed with fresh produce most of which was home grown in the fridge and a bottle of wine as well as oils and vinegar and tea and coffee Would definitely stay there again

We stayed as a family of six, four adults and two children (8 and 5). The set up was really comfortable and worked perfectly for us. The outdoor pool area is great and our two kids loved it - especially as there were lots of inflatables left to play with. We arrived at 3am. Xristos offered to meet us, but when we suggested with young children we'd prefer just to get in and get to bed, then meet up after it was no problem at all. We had instructions to call when we arrived, and the gate was opened for us. We were blown away by how well supplied the house was. Xristos was in touch in the week before to check if we needed anything in particular and couldn't have been more helpful in making sure we had everything we needed to start our holiday. Then we had a delivery of local fruit and wild artichokes as they were in season. Amazing. There was a dust storm before we arrived. Xristos promptly sorted this too. A great and relaxed place to stay, with an unbelievably good host. Thanks!

The Rustic Nook was such a lovely, unique place to stay. It felt like you were tucked away in a quaint cottage in the shire. Beyond the physical attractiveness of the home, Amanda was always just a text away. I felt that if an emergency were to arise, she would’ve been there in a moment’s notice. When it came to the Rustic Nook, she thought of everything and had a note or explanation available. We loved our stay and if we ever get the chance to come back to Crete, we hope to be able to stay at the Rustic Nook again!

The villa is clean, well stocked, and spacious. Simos was incredibly responsive and great to communicate with. The area is lovely, with a few excellent restaurants in walking distance, wineries and olive farms really close, and Knossos Palace also a short drive away. It’s a great place to unwind and the proximity to the Heraklion airport is also a bonus if you’re flying off the island.

We stayed at Villa Elena for a week. ( Family of five / three children age 8,11 and 14. The Villa was lovely - nicer than the photos. We loved the pool - great size, a bit bigger and deeper than expected. The view was was amazing, i miss it already. Beaches, restaurants and shops in walking distance. Everyone was so friendly. George was a brilliant host - very responsive and kind He spent time giving great recommendations which was very helpful. We loved our time in crete and would definitely recommend booking here.

very nice clean modern apartment equipped with everything, air conditioning, equipped kitchen, washing machine, comfortable bed, only flaw is the lack of a dishwasher. around the house there were several cats and also 4 adorable dogs that live in that area, but don't be afraid they are very sweet and harmless, we fed them throughout our stay and they always made us happy, if you can please do the same, in Crete there is no real concept of pets and even less of stray dogs abandoned to themselves, a small gesture can make a difference, thank you very much.

We had a wonderful and unforgettable stay in Crete. Katerina welcomed us very well in this paradise island me and my sister. Indeed, she welcomed us at the bus stop to show us the beautiful apartment which is a 10-minute walk from the beach. The apartment had all the necessary amenities and it was very clean (the bedrooms, the kitchen, the shower, the sheets,...). Katerina was listening and answering all our questions throughout our stay. She showed us the supermarket which is 10 minutes away by bus where you can find tasty vegetables and fruits and local products like olive oil and honey. It also showed us the tourist places: the most beautiful beaches of Crete like the sublime Sarantaris beach, the beautiful Heraklion Cruises to Dia Island and the beautiful neighboring towns like Nikolaos. My husband and I spent a lovely week at Asteri Home. The house was exactly as expected and just what we wanted for our week in Crete. The kitchen was well-equipped and allowed us to make breakfasts and a some dinners at home. The main double bedroom was big enough and comfortable. The bathroom is a bit dark and the shower is quite small, but we made do. The most amazing part of the house is the huge garden overlooking the sea that has 4 sun loungers, 2 outdoor tables for dining, a BBQ and a dart board. We spent a lot of time sitting at the end of the garden enjoying the view. Véronique and Yiannis are amazing hosts. They were so helpful right from the start - arranging transport from the airport, a rental car, offering suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. Kokkini Hani is quieter than other more touristy parts of Crete we visited. We found wonderful Greek restaurants with fresh seafood everyday. The supermarket and shops are all in walking distance. A lovely place!

The apartment lacks nothing! Dimitra is so warm and immediately takes care of you. The furniture and decoration are high quality and beautiful! You can feel that Dimitra cares very much about the well-being of the guest. It makes you feel right at home. The kitchen is very large and fully equipped, nothing is missing! Basics such as salt, pepper, vinegar, oil are available. The living area invites you to relax. Air conditioning in WZ + SZ. available. The bed is large and very comfortable, very comfortable. We had very relaxing nights. There is space to tidy up your clothes. There are 2 balconies and one view tops the other. 1x with a view of the olive groves and the mountains, 1x towards the sea incl. sunset, simply fantastic. Everything was super clean. Everything is furnished with a lot of love for detail. The apartment is located in a quiet area, yet everything is within walking distance. We thank Dimitra for her hospitality and cordiality. We will definitely be back!

Pristine apartment and well provided for in terms of kitchen etc. Great showers and really comfy beds..... excellent apartment and Stella who checked us in was lovely. Aikaterini was very helpful in contacting us in advance of arriving too..... great place!!

We had a lovely 2 week stay at the villa. The view and facilities were outstanding. The hosts were super friendly and very helpful. I would recommend the villa to all families and groups. We were supplied with everything we needed including cots and child safety gates. Thank you for making our stay so relaxing and checking whether we needed anything.

We have just had the most gorgeous family holiday at Villa Belle Helene . It is the perfect villa equipped to the highest standards both inside and out and exceeded all our expectations. Inside is spacious and all the rooms have excellent air conditioning which was very welcome in the heat. We spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoor areas, especially the pool and jacuzzi which were perfect to cool down in the heat and to enjoy. The sheltered area outside the lounge is perfect for eating and BBQs and the raised outdoor seating area with TV provides the opportunity to unwind in an evening. It is 10 mins walk up to Old Hersonnissus which has a lovely square with Tavernas and bars. Hiring a car is worthwhile to explore the island further but not essential as its easy to book taxis. Eleni and her family are absolutely lovely, they could not be more helpful and made us so welcome. We would absolutely recommend this villa and would love to stay again if we go back to Crete.

Mandy Villa was everything we wanted, nice and clean pool, big kitchen and dining arean and privacy.

Everything around this beautiful villa was perfectly arranged and we felt super safe as 7 girls! Manolis (the host of the villa) arranged transportation for us from and to the airport and all the service from Anna Maria Villages was also good. In the villa itself everything looked nice and clean. We had a very nice stay :)

We loved our stay at this comfortable, immaculate property with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Dimitris was extremely responsive and helpful, Popi who met us at checkin was friendly and welcoming, and Maria who came by to clean was sweet. The apartment is located in a great area as it is a small seaside community but still has a grocery store, restaurants, and pharmacy within walking distance. We rented a car and drove all over. I really enjoyed the time we spent outside on the patio listening to the waves crashing.

We had a wonderful 5-day vacation at the villa. The property was stunning! It was tastefully designed, offering full privacy, and was super clean. We used the brick oven to make pizza and also enjoyed the pool. Everything was just as it looked in the pictures, and the villa was equipped with everything we needed. Pandelis, the owner, was very responsive to all of our requests and questions. I highly recommend this place!

Haven of peace and serenity, we had a wonderful stay with a fabulous view of the sea! Many restaurants are nearby in the village as well as shops, and Heraklion is only a few kilometers away. A big thank you to Minas for his warm welcome, kindness, availability and all his valuable recommendations. We left this house with regret and hope to return one day!

Our family spent a wonderful 14 days in Manolis’ house at the end of October. We fully recommend this place if you’re traveling with kids! Our twins spent nearly all their time outdoors, feeding the friendly cats, collecting stones, and playing in the treehouse – they were absolutely delighted. The house is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate a large family (we were 5 adults and 2 kids) and is beautifully furnished with a stylish and cozy feel. The outdoor area is perfect for children to explore and play safely, and the quiet surroundings made for a relaxing retreat. Manolis and his family were excellent hosts, providing everything we needed to feel at home and ensuring our stay was perfect. If you’re looking for a family-friendly destination with plenty of charm and warmth, this is the ideal spot. We would love to come back!
