Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Stockton-on-Tees

Lovely place to stay, beautifully decorated and the house is spotless and comfortable. David is super lovely and really happy to help. Staithes is a very small and quiet place with some beautiful walks along the coast, my dog loved it. Phone reception is non existent in the village so make sure you know the location prior to arriving. There is wifi in the air b&b. Really enjoyed just relaxing and the log burner plus monopoly was such a wholesome vibe.

Absolutely gorgeous house in a beautiful location. Everything was spotless. Angela was a brilliant host, and left lots of extra finishing touches to make our stay 10/10. We will definitely stay here again, and would recommend in a heartbeat.

Any less than 5* or a-maz-ing would be doing Jane and Crabapple Cottage a disservice. The neighbours were fabulous too. We had everything we could possibly want in the cottage and looong garden, and more, including the trampoline 😄 Jane was super responsive to questions I raised even when she was out with a friend and immediately set to finding a solution to our mini problem. Settees and bed were very comfortable and our dog was immediately relaxed in the property which was also really important to us. So many places to visit nearby and lots to do, we could have spent way more time there.

Ellen was a fantastic host. Made me and my children feel really welcome. The house was large & very clean, ellen was on hand to help if needed. Would highly recommend & will be sure to stay again next time im up. Thank you very much Ellen. From jamie and the kids

Pawel was a wonderful host and when a problem came up, he quickly came over to help us resolve it. The neighbors were a little loud but it wasn’t Pawel’s fault. Besides that, everything else was comfortable and tidy.

Wendy was a great host and made sure we had the relevant information as we needed it and checked all was well when we got to Rose Cottage. The cottage looked just like the photos and the description was spot on. We found it very comfortable, well decorated and furnished and very clean. It is a 15 minute down hill walk into the city. We preferred to get a taxi back up the hill which was easy because there are several taxi ranks in the city. The parking permit was brilliant and once we parked on the road outside the cottage we didn't move the car until we left. There was plenty to do in Durham. We particularly enjoyed eating Sunday lunch at Isla but you do need to prebook. I can highly recommend Rose Cottage when in Durham.

Really impressed with this lovely home from home. It was larger than the photos and very comfortable. Appreciated all the provisions and how clean and beautiful the place was, yet practical too. Very many thanks for a lovely stay .... lots of local info too.

Great spacious property, with everything we needed for a two night stay! Big bedrooms, nice bathroom and lovely kitchen diner with everything you would need. Street parking as great right out the front of the property, a few shops at the end of the road for amenities and an easy walk into the town centre. The check in was very easy and Dave gave us all of the info we needed!

A ground floor flat in a quiet cul de sac (with parking) , about 5 minutes walk from Norton's Georgian High street with restaurants, cafes, shops/ supermarkets and pubs close at hand ...plus a duck pond . Clean property , fairly newly refurbished to a good standard with all the expected amenities and two double bedrooms . Well served by public transport locally & regionally too .Not far from the A19 main link road North/South through Teesside's towns so access is an easy 15 minutes to the coast or the hills and moors .Ancient cities such as Durham & York are only an hour away too. And a good price too.

Beautiful little hidden gem! A perfect stay whilst we attended a wedding at Middleton Lodge. The flat was well equipped, bed was super comfy and the towels were large and fluffy! I would deffinatley reccomend to others 😃😃. Thank you Fiona!

Gorgeous, stylish and comfortable flat in a great location for exploring the city. Everything has been thought about: the interior design, the kitchen equipment, the parking permits and the coffee pods, and everything was comfortable and stress free. Spotlessly clean, impeccable comms and a really friendly welcome. There is some road noise, so if you're not normally a city dweller, you could be disturbed. Wasn't a problem for us - highly recommend.

My partner and I had a great time staying at Debra’s place in Seaham! Exactly as described in the listing, the apartment was spotless and well presented, left us wanting for nothing. Debra was a great host, suggesting different local restaurants and points of interest. Ashoka Indian and The Lamp Room are both well worth a visit on the sea front. The Nook is a beautiful flat to stay in. Very clean and cute, the host was very helpful and replied quickly. Loved the stay.

Great place to stay, we are not keen on hotels so this house was a great option for us. We had everything we needed, host was very responsive and helpful if we ever needed to ask any questions. Would definitely recommend staying here.
