The Donnerschwee farm, first mentioned in 1937 and later built, is located in the northeast of the city of Oldenburg and was the first settlement house on the square. The Donnerschwee district emerged from an old farming village, which presumably existed since the 9th century. The surroundings impress with their proximity to the Donnerschwee meadows and their beautiful cycling and walking paths. Nevertheless, everyday necessities are within a few minutes' walk or on foot.

The duplex apartment has a north / east-facing living room on the ground floor with a view of the driveway and the surrounding fields. Bedrooms, a shower room and an additional toilet are located upstairs, where grain used to be stored. Four large block-frame sliding windows, which correspond as much as possible to their historical model, let a lot of light (and also air) into the living room.
