In 2022, we started an exciting project to convert the barn on my grandfather's family farm into a luxurious holiday home. In May 2023, we finished one apartment and in the fall, the other. The possibilities are many: enjoy the tranquility of forest walks, by the lake or on the balcony in the evening sun and combine with excursions in the surrounding area and southern Sweden. Stay in a beautiful, renovated house right on the edge of Lake Åsnen, close to the national park. The house has its own dock and fishing rights as well as a fireplace, large terrace with jacuzzi and surrounded by beautiful nature and lovely lake view. There are 4 separate bedrooms with room for a total of 6 people, large kitchen and open living areas. We include sheets and other amenities as well as access to bicycles, two canoes and barbecue in the rental rental. Possibility to rent a boat.

Surrounded by meadows, forests and lakes this modern and winterproof country house invites you to get away from it all to enjoy the wonderful undisturbed nature, perfect for bathing, fishing, cycling and gathering berries and mushrooms. The house is continuously maintained. In 2024, the veranda roof was renewed and an odorless biological sewage treatment plant and EV charging station were installed - before that, among other things, a new fridge-freezer, stove, induction hob and dishwasher.
