At the far end of the Västerhavet is the island of Tjörnekalv. You can easily get there by bus and/or train from Gothenburg. By car, you park in Rönnäng and take the ferry to the island. Around the island there is the possibility of saltwater swimming, climbing mountains, catching crabs, experiencing species-rich nature. There are no stores on the island so you need to bring the supplies you need. You can order groceries from Dyröboden. They arrive by ferry the following day. Avslappnad miljö och ändå nära hotspots som Lysekil, Skaftö, Fiskebäckskil och Grundsund. Obs: Stugan är till uthyrning endast för två gäster utan barn.

The area provides lots of possibilities for recreation with beautiful foot- and cycle paths, Nääs Castle, café, crafts and only 1,5 km from one of Northern Europes largest golfcourses.
