It's only a 7 min walk to the historic town square, 0.6 miles from Piedmont-Newton Hospital, 1.8 miles from Oxford College. Off street parking is available in the driveway. The apartment is located behind the main house and up a flight of stairs. Sorry, not suitable for guests with reduced mobility or young children!

Lake Haven was everything I could’ve hoped for and more. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I stepped into a peaceful, beautifully curated escape. The lake view alone was breathtaking—perfect for slow mornings and golden sunsets. I loved how thoughtful the amenities were. The paddle boats added a fun and unique way to enjoy the water, and there were so many great touches like yoga mats, outdoor games, and a full outdoor dining area complete with stylish furniture. It made it so easy to enjoy the outdoors in comfort and style. The jacuzzi was a nice touch to unwind and relax. Inside, the Airbnb was absolutely stunning. The decor was jaw-dropping—chic, cozy, and clearly designed with love. It felt like a boutique retreat, but still had all the comfort of home. The wine bar was such a classy bonus, and the coffee and s’mores station made station made the whole experience feel even more special. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or just need a quiet getaway to recharge.

Laurie’s place was very beautiful, spacious, and cozy! Pictures don’t do it justice!! Very clean and accommodating. All amenities that were listed were there and worked great! Felt safe and at home. Bed was very comfortable, fit two perfectly. The living room couch was very big as well if anyone needed to use it to sleep on. The bathroom door wasn’t large enough to cover the entire doorway so there was a small gap, but not a huge issue. There were a couple hiccups during check in, but Laurie was very nice and everything went smoothly the rest of the trip! Would definitely recommend!! ☺️

Everything was great. The place is comfortable, quiet, and cozy, despite being in a basement. The price is reasonable, compared to other, more expensive places. Footsteps can be heard upstairs, although it wasn't a problem for me. I appreciated the coffee in the kitchen. Thank you very much.
