Quiet area within walking distance to restaurants and shops

This property is highly recommended, with every detail thoughtfully arranged. The decor is fresh and cozy, offering ample space with modern furniture and appliances exclusively for guests. We found more than enough of what we needed. The neighborhood is pleasant, featuring several good supermarkets (we find a coop and a chinese shop) and a nearby tram station. The host is friendly and easygoing – when I communicated with him, he often provided more information than I needed, making me feel welcome. The balcony is nice, and nights are generally quiet. However, being on the first floor, there are occasional small insects, and the lack of AC or fans made recent hot days uncomfortable. Considering the overall advantages, I’d rate it 5/5.

The apartment really had everything you could want for a short, relaxing vacation🧳✨. Upon our arrival, everything was sparkling clean, lovingly prepared and we immediately felt comfortable🧼🛏️. The fantastic view from the balcony 🌅 has really enchanted us - these moments and images will remain in our hearts forever❤️. We are sure that we will knock on your door again at some point📩😊. Milan's apartment is amazing and he is very hospitable and friendly. It is located in a large square in the heart of the old town with dozens of shops, restaurants, and bars within easy walking distance. The Zurich HB train station is a 10-15 minute walk and there is a full-size grocery store a few hundred meters away. We did not expect to need AC in Zurich in June, but the temperature was above 90F for two days, so we were very happy to have AC in Milan's apartment - many rentals do not have it. Note that the unit is on the 5th and 6th floors (plus a rooftop terrace on the 7th), and there is no elevator. Milan's family owns the cafe on the ground floor, and they graciously volunteered to carry the heavy luggage upstairs. If you have an early flight on your way out of Zurich, you may have to carry your own luggage down, but gravity helps. The view from the rooftop is spectacular, the kitchen is well-appointed, beds are comfortable, and bathrooms are modern. Very highly recommended.

Beautiful accommodation, as in the photos with a nice view. The apartment is located on the top floor and the hosts live below. Everything you need was there (towels, dishwasher tabs, toilet paper, hand soap, shower gel...), so you don't have to go shopping right away if you forgot something. The hosts were kind but not intrusive. The area is nice and quiet (apart from the toads currently and currently a new construction site on a neighboring house). From midnight, the street lights are off - with a clear sky, therefore, a beautiful view of the stars. At the Illmensee, there has recently been no diving board and no slide, but also no entrance to the lakeside resort. There is a large playground, kiosk with ice cream, fries, etc., mini golf, chess and a boat rental. During our stay, there were a lot of flying insects (not stinging) at the lake, which made it a little difficult to relax. The way to Lake Constance is also not far.

We enjoyed our stay in Johanna's apartment very much. Above all, the great terrace invites you to start the day there and end it there in the evening. In the apartment, everything you need was available (there was even a baby bed, a washing machine and a parasol). Above all, we liked the quiet location and the immediate proximity to the lake. Johanna is a super host. She is very helpful and communication with her was smooth. We will be happy to come back.

What a lovely place in beautiful Appenzell! Berti was the best host! Showed us to the apartment and explained where everything was. Quite roomy! Nicely decorated. Kitchen had good assortment of spices and coffee/creamer. The rooftop was amazing with the views and totally private. Totally walkable from train station and shops , restaurants. It does get a bit warm and a little street noise. Would definitely stay again !

We had the most lovely stay and wish we could’ve stayed longer. Marion was excellent in recommending things to do and places for bike rentals. The accommodation was beautiful and in the perfect location. We will be back

We had a great time staying at Eckharts place. The place was clean, spacious, and flooded with light, in a very peaceful neighbourhood with all stores in walkable distance. There’s a neighbour’s car that comes greeting in the garden every day, which is great. We had some funny scaredy cat moments as sometimes the ceiling was creaking mysteriously…. And at night the bed made mysterious sounds… but nothing too scary 😁 The host is very responsive and helpful. Thanks for having us!

The house is ideal for 2-3 people and is located in a quiet street. From the terrace, you have a beautiful wide view of meadows and trees. Everything was very well maintained and clean. It's great that there are toiletry and care products as well as cleaning products in sufficient quantities and even a "minibar" is offered if you arrive later or have forgotten something. The carport offers so much space that you can also park bicycles. A great starting point to explore Ravensburg, Bald Waldsee, Bad Wurzach, etc. Communication with Manuel was flawless and super fast. We will be happy to come back.

Absolutely loved👍😍. We stayed 1 week for two with our four-legged friends in the beautiful accommodation of Petra and Roger. Already before our trip, we had such a friendly contact with Petra and Roger. Everything went wonderfully from start to finish. The place is a dream, clean, beautifully decorated, with lots of privacy and with everything your heart desires🙏❤. The location is perfect, with many possibilities for excursions (Wutachschlucht, Schluchsee, Rheinfall, Titisee, Lake Constance, Zurich and much more). A perfect place to enjoy peace and quiet in the countryside and still see a lot. The entire accommodation is beautiful, we would have loved to move in there. Everything is totally clean, modern, new and equipped with everything and more than you need. Large garden with deck chairs, hammock and large terrace, where you can relax and spend the day. Great kitchen and totally beautiful bedrooms. You are not far from the bus and train and thus quickly in Constance. Mario is a super friendly and accommodating host, you feel comfortable and welcome. The accommodation helped make our stay something special. I appreciate it 😍

We had the pleasure of spending the last few days in this great Airbnb apartment and it was just perfect! The apartment is not only clean and stylishly furnished, but also offers everything you need for a relaxed stay. The location is ideal – quiet yet central, so you can quickly reach all the main attractions. Linda was very helpful at all times and immediately made sure that the internet connection was stable. Since I combined work & vacation on the first day, this was indispensable for me. The communication was friendly and uncomplicated at all times. We had a wonderful stay in Salem! We were warmly welcomed and the apartment was nice and very clean – just like in the photos. It was particularly convenient that it was within walking distance of the castle lake, which was perfect for us. As a young family with a baby, we also enjoyed the little extras, such as the attached outlet covers, which made the apartment childproof. We would definitely come back and can highly recommend the accommodation!

Our getaway with Oliver and Ines was really nice and relaxing. The hosts are very welcoming and have helped us personally with all concerns. The apartment was modern and beautifully decorated.
