The accommodation is a traditional thatched farmhouse flat with a view overlooking the lake, the surrounding meadows and the North Frisian marshes. It is ideal for nature lovers: you can canoe, cycle and watch the flocks of birds that use the partly protected lake as a migration and nesting site. The house was carefully restored with natural materials in 2025/2026

The Nuurdlaacht (Frisian: Northern Lights) vacation apartment is centrally located in Wyk/Boldixum on the road that connects the harbor with the town of Wyk and the island villages. An ideal starting point for excursions to the islands. The city center with shops and the beach are about 1 km away, so everything is easily accessible by bike. The apartment is well equipped with two terraces, a garden and a parking space.

Our "Tiny Loft" No. 5 is the smallest of our apartments at 20 sqm, but offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. The central focal point is the spacious kitchen island, where you can not only cook, but also sit. Here in the south of Amrum, the sea is very close and the dune landscape and the huge Kniepsand are within walking distance in a few minutes. A perfect starting point for relaxed island adventures!

From this centrally located accommodation, you are in no time at all the important places. For your trips to the beach (about 5 minutes by bike) and across the island, I will provide bicycles. The bus stop is 150 meters away, as is the delicious bakery. Opposite is the farm shop with regional products such as milk, eggs, potatoes, etc. Edeka is 300 meters away. Digebo is beautifully located just behind the dike, very close to Sønderstrand. Here is amazing nature right outside the door. Take a walk along the dike down to the amazingly beautiful and probably Northern Europe's largest sandy beach. Here is a fantastic bird life, lovely hiking trails and bike paths all over the island. Inside, it's cozy and inviting and plenty of room for 6 people.
