Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Valsolda

The accommodation is beautiful - the fantastic view the absolute highlight. The premises are super divided & the house is very charming. Would book again immediately! Only the parking situation is a bit difficult. It's not easy to find a parking spot.

We spent a few magical days in Argegno as a group of four, and staying at this house was truly the highlight of our trip. The home is full of charm, beautifully spacious and comfortable – but nothing compares to that view. The giant panoramic window looking out over Lake Como is absolutely breathtaking. Every morning and evening we found ourselves just staring in awe – that view is something we’ll carry with us forever. The balcony was another favorite spot of ours – peaceful, private, and perfect for a coffee or glass of wine while soaking in the incredible scenery. Thomas and Mattia were wonderful hosts – friendly, communicative, and thoughtful. The town of Argegno itself is a gem – picturesque, relaxed, and ideally located for exploring the lake. The ferry port is just a short walk away, making day trips super easy. We absolutely loved our stay and would come in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for a special place with soul, comfort, and a view you’ll never forget – this is it.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this accommodation for the second time. It was a wonderful vacation again. It is a haven of peace in a beautiful and quiet place. You feel at home very quickly. Everything is quickly accessible on foot, by public transport or with your own vehicle. Many possibilities for walks, visits and hikes are easily reachable. We (two families, four children), felt very comfortable with Bruno. The house is comfortably and functionally furnished. Only a little inconvenient: There is only one toilet on the basement, which can be reached via a relatively steep staircase. Otherwise: beautiful, quiet environment, great playground nearby, forest, creek. Beautiful veranda. And Lugano can be reached quickly by public transport and car. The communication with Bruno was always friendly, he very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend staying with him.

The apartment is very traditional in an old stone house, located in the beautiful Verzasca Valley. The location is the ideal vantage point to explore the valley with its beautiful nature, but also Locarno and Ascona. Please note: the place is on a reservoir, you can't swim there! There are also no supermarkets, bakeries, etc. in the valley, so it is best to do your shopping in advance. The apartment itself is very clean, the kitchen fully equipped, the location very quiet. We were there as a family with 2 children and felt very comfortable. (There are steep stairs in the house, not suitable for very small children). Overall highly recommended!

The place is beautiful and very well located. You have a fantastic view of the lake and some hiking opportunities in the area. The apartment is about 10 minutes by car from Colico and it is super quiet. The pool and pool loungers are also great.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and inviting. The water pressure and hot water were excellent, and the bed was super comfy. The views were absolutely amazing and made our mornings and evenings extra special. The location was perfect, just a short, easy drive into central Menaggio. Riccardo was an incredibly friendly and responsive host, which made everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

The rental was beautiful with an amazing view. It took 10 minutes to get to town by car. Easy drive to Varenna and Bellano. The outdoor patio was great with a large area under cover.

What an incredible stay! Michele’s place has everything you need to feel at home, all in an amazing location. There are enough amenities nearby such as the convenience store and 2 restaurants/bars, along with bus stops and even the dock for ferries across the lake. Incredible stay. Location was perfect - beautiful and quiet. Ferry access in town and garage parking were great amenities. Private dock access was nice - Nicola helped us arrange a boat rental and we were picked up right at the dock. Clean, crib for baby provided. Nicola was very helpful and always available. A few things to note: for grocery store, 15-20 m drive. Trash has to be disposed at public area: 12m walk. Thank you Nicola, we will be back!

This is a beautiful apartment in a prime location that has a parking spot, but you don't need a car. The apartment is a very short walk to the lake ferry service, the town square and a C10 bus stop. You can walk to Menaggio Piazza Roma Bus station in under 10 minutes if you want to take the bus to Lugano, Switzerland. The apartment is beautiful, with historic decor and modern conveniences and a lovely terrace. You can hear some street noises, but the apartment is very private. Roxana is very easy to communicate with. Thank you Roxana! We enjoyed our stay!

My only regret is that we can’t give 6 stars on the evaluation and that since we want to come back it hurts me to advertise it to others!! Frankly, a part from the place which is a little jewel, the calmness of the surroundings, the spectacular lake Como, what we appreciated the most is the kindness and proactivity of our hosts. They truly embody the ideal concept of what Airbnb should always be. Thanks to the whole family

Wonderful private and gorgeous retreat high up on the hillside. RENT A CAR. We did, but only last minute and initially had planned to uber to and from the Airbnb both for arrival and departure as well as just day trips; this would have been a mistake, it is 12-14 minutes up the hill from the town. If you have a rental car and are comfortable driving up steep roads, it is a fun adventure and the views make it well worth the trek. The space itself is second to none. Gorgeous pool with million dollar views, several levels of terraces with sun chairs, outdoor eating areas, and the home itself is inviting and comfortable.

Beautiful and nature-filled haven in Porto Ceresio surmounting Lago Lugano and surrounded by greens and mountains. The house is thoughtfully designed, comfortable and cozy. Our host Marco is friendly, professional, proactive and always willing to help on everything we need. It’s a perfect place for family and friends to make wonderful moments and memories. Highly recommended.
