Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Vänern

The second time we stayed in Anja's cottage, a very soothing place. Simple and very cozy accommodation that suits us perfectly. Lovely to have breakfast next to Tidan.

Beautiful luxury holiday home in a beautiful setting. A minute's walk from a beautiful beach and in the middle of the woods. The host came to meet us, which was very pleasant. Very helpful and considerate. We can recommend this place/accommodation to everyone.

A beautiful and large house with complete furnishings and a large terrace. The house has many large windows with views over the vast lake and the other houses in the small-scale holiday park. Contact with the owner went well and quickly. We enjoyed the silence, tranquility and the singing birds. We took nice walks in the area. Supermarkets and shops are easily accessible 15km away. We would love to come back here if we go back to Sweden.

Very nice house and location. The walk-through room was not so convenient for our group (6 friends), but if you go with 1 or 2 families that is fine.

We really enjoyed the communication with the hosts, for the house, for the facilities, for Tived National Park, for the instruction book in the house and for the entire stay. It can easily be we'll be back. We had a little trouble with our car and some neighbors were also very helpful. It was just really good everything.

The views from the cabin are incredible! So peaceful and the prefect location for relaxing and taking in the scenery. The interior is very clean and more than spacious. We greatly appreciated Corina and Andreas’ recommendations for the area- thank you! Wish we could have stayed longer - highly recommend!

My husband and I had a great time at Sandbacken and we loved meeting Bernhard and Wioleta! They are very kind and welcoming. We went on the Moose Safari with Bernhard and we spotted multiple moose, deer, foxes and even an red deer. We were so lucky!

We liked the stay, as it was pleasantly quiet. The bus takes you easily to the city center, shopping was easy on foot. The apartment and garden offer plenty of space to have a relaxing vacation. Unfortunately, we didn't meet Peter in person, but he organized a great representative who immediately helped us with questions.

Fantastic holiday accommodation, beautifully and comfortably furnished, with a great terrace and lake view. The kitchen offers everything you could need. Nice and attentive hosts in a simply great environment. Rarely seen such a clean accommodation, keep it up!

Very nice accommodation that is very easy to get to. The accommodation had everything you were looking for! I really think everyone should try the accommodation sometime in their life :) We can guarantee that you will be more than satisfied!

Great place! The converted barn is charming. Surrounded by farmland. Worked well for us, but steep stairs with low ceiling and the loft ladder could be hard for some older folks or with mobility issues. Thanks for a great stay!

Gunilla and Yngve are very nice and friendly, yet I had all the privacy I wanted. The apartment is so much prettier than in the pictures, it's super clean and very comfortable. I stayed here by myself for a month and I loved it. Månstad is a stunning and serene area in the countryside, forests all around, lakes at about 5km from the house, so there's plenty of hiking opportunities in all directions. It was such a treat to be able to go for a couple of hours hike every day before work! The nearest grocery store is in Limmared, by foot it's more or less 7km each way. In Limmared there's also Glasets Hus, a restaurant and glass art exhibition well worth visiting. I didn't have a car so I walked to the village twice a week for supplies and I recommend that walk to anyone who loves being in nature and enjoys a good hike. The WiFi was excellent for remote work and everything works well in the apartment. I absolutely recommend! Thank you Gunilla and Yngve!! 🙏❤️😍😍😍

We had a fantastic two weeks and were very welcome by Léon and Karin. We have loved the tranquility and space at the beautiful lake. The villa is very fully equipped, with all the comforts. We felt at home. Every evening we had the wood stove on and in the fire pit on the mountain we had winter- bbq. Sausages on the fire and mashmallows, and then enjoy the immense silence, wow! We fished and we were allowed to use the sled to sled from the mountain and toys were also ready. The kids were fantastic. The walks in the folder were also nice to do. So many nice things to see in the area. Gränna, Eksjo and more. In the night visit of deer and at Christmas visit from Santa Claus! So nice! Winter wonderland. We are fully equipped and actually didn't want to go home anymore. A fabulous Christmas and New Year's Eve. We will absolutely be back!

Amazing location for a quiet honeymoon :) Beautiful scenery, quiet location perfect for a holiday away from all the busyness of city life. Endless walks and ability to take out the boat or the paddle board and hang out by the fire watching the scenery in the evenings. Inger and Erik always responded to every question we had very quickly and they also gave us recommendations for local things to do. Although in a quiet area, Oslo is just 50 minutes away by train and you can also organise a variety of days out in the surrounding towns like Halden. The cabin is clean and has everything you could possibly need. We will definitely be coming back in the future :)

We had a very great stay, the host lent us the canoe for the day. We paddled along the lake it is so peaceful. On the night the host gave us some wood to make a barbeque, there was no many mosquitos, it was so nice. I really recommand this place, it's completly worth it ! ;)

Great communication, and all was as advertised in the listing. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Cozy house surrounded by nature, with such a peaceful lake view. We were able to canoe, swim from a floating barge on the lake, walk in the forest. Pâr and Peggy are adorable and give good directions for visits. Perfect if you want to take a nature break: )

We had a wonderful time in the cozy cottage with lake view, perfect for a relaxing break. The facility is modern, very cozy and lovingly thought out. Everything was clean and high quality. A baby bed and high chair were ready. There was a nice surprise in the fridge as a welcome and Amanda brought fresh eggs from her chickens. Outside, a great seating area with a barbecue invites you to linger, with a view of the lake, grazing cows and sheep. We have taken a special liking to the sheep and will miss them very much! In the surrounding area, you can go for a wonderful walk, collect wild herbs or simply enjoy the peace and quiet. A small bathing area is just a few steps away. Another highlight was the beautiful wooden sauna right on the lake about 5 minutes' walk away, which we were allowed to use at any time. Amanda and Michael are incredibly warm and helpful hosts. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back! 🤍

Lovely accommodations. So comfortable. I had the best sleep of our trip. Wine on the deck with an amazing view. Monica was a great host. Quick trip to Tiveden. Check out Askersund for restaurants.
