Welcome to Skogshuset Solhaga! Here you can enjoy the tranquility, go on an adventure in the forest and discover the typical Småland. The house, which is newly renovated and modernly furnished, is located about 25 minutes from Astrid Lindgren's Vimmerby and about 50 minutes from Västervik and the Småland archipelago. Here you will find all the amenities and from the garden a path leads to the magical forest, a place for children and adults, for play and contemplation. Boat in own small lake included and child-friendly swimming area can be reached in 10 minutes.

Lake house

We rent out our nice little cottage/lake cottage in Västervik during the summer. The cottage is 2 km from the center and 50 m to the jetty where you can swim. The cottage consists of large cottage with bedable corner sofa, TV and dining area, small kitchen, bedroom with 120 cm bed and a terrace under roof in southwest facing with a fantastic view of Gamlebyvik and in towards Västervik. Shower and WC available. The cottage is 40 sqm including terrace suitable for 2 adults and 1 child All bed sheets , towels and cleaning are not included Unsecure WiFi connection

Farmhouse by the sea!

Farmhouse on a secluded lake plot with fantastic location! Possibility of swimming from the plot & jetty, most swimming areas nearby. Perfect location for kayaking. Nice walking paths. About 6 km to the city center. City bus stop in direct vicinity. Close to Lysingsbadet with restaurants etc. Approximately 9 km to Ekhagens Golf Course, approximately 1 hour drive to Astrid Lindgren's World. (The pool belongs to the large house, not available) The tenant is responsible for cleaning. Bed linens/towels can be rented for SEK 150/set.

It offers accommodation in a cozy cottage of about 85m2 with 3 rooms & kitchen and a ceiling height of 180cm (note!). The house is easily accessible along Stångelandsvägen and is located in close proximity to charming turn of the century villa and large garden with fruit trees. Here you can easily get by car to many fun activities: - 45 min to Vimmerby (with Astrid Lindgrens World) - 5 min to Gamleby (with bla Hammarsbadet) - 25 min to Västervik (with shopping and restaurants) Welcome to the Ekedahl family

Secluded cottage by a small lake

Relax with the family in this peaceful space. A small cottage located by a hole with access to your own jetty, wood fired sauna, boat and free fishing. There is access to, among other things, a fridge, TC (dry toilet), fresh water on a can and charging via a usb port and solar cells (see picture). The cabin is heated using wood burning. Sanitary house is 4 km away with access to shower and toilet. It is a forest road to the cottage. The guest cleans themselves and brings their own sheets and firewood.

Enjoy the tranquility of our idyllic cottage, surrounded by nature, with a cozy fireplace and beautiful views! We offer the possibility to borrow bikes and rent a kayak and rowing boat. You can take a short walk to buy eggs or locally produced apple must directly from the neighboring farmer, visit cows, horses, chickens and watch deer. 5 minute bike ride will take you to a beautiful lake, or why not take a trip to Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's World just 4 miles away? Fresh, cozy cottage right by the sea.

Take it easy at this unique and cozy place. Warm welcome to "129". Our guest house is located right by the sea, on a secluded part of our garden. Quiet, harmonious and peaceful. Swimming facilities are available. 2 km to Gränsö nature reserve with nice hiking trails, 3 km to Västervik city center. 1 km to Ekhagen golf course. Suitable for two or max three people. It is nice to dock by boat at our jetty if you want to bring a boat. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but we wish they sleep in their own bed.

It is part of an old Swedish farm on a 10-hectare estate located between the lakes Rummelsrum and Hyttegöl. Get to know the rich fauna and flora of southern Sweden directly from the terrace or during long walks in the area. After a dip in the lake, enjoy a barbecue on the cozy, illuminated terrace.
