With just under 800 meters away you reach Ästad vineyard which also has a fantastic spa and restaurant. 40 meters from the cabin you will find a swimming area with a jetty. A couple of kilometers from the cottage, there is Hiaklitten, a fantastic hiking trail. But it is equally possible to hike around the amazing lake next to the cabin.
