Welcome to our farmhouse in Lilla Frö, a carefully renovated accommodation on our Öland farm in the charming terraced village of Lilla Frö. You will be living in the middle of the Öland cultural landscape, surrounded by open fields, stone walls, close to a swimming area and hiking trails. The courtyard house has its own entrance, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, as well as a cozy private garden with patio. Perfect for those who want to discover southern Öland's nature, Alvaret, small villages and beautiful coastal roads, or just enjoy the tranquility of the countryside.

Cottage in a quiet location in the terraced village of Vickleby on southern Öland. The cottage is 26 m2 with a sleeping loft of 10 m2, surrounded by a beautiful garden, built with different rooms separated by trellised pear trees and full of other fruit trees, vegetables and flowers. Vickleby is located in the World Heritage Site of Southern Öland's Agricultural Landscape, on the edge of Stora Alvaret, with its unique flora and two km away from the sea with swimming or windsurfing at Haga Park, or bird watching at Beijershamn. Five minutes walk to Capellagården.

Fresh cottage with air heat pump for heating/cooling near Beijershamn Nature Reserve, Vickleby noble deciduous forest, Haga Park swimming area and Öland's herb garden. Close to much of what makes Öland unique. Fully equipped kitchen, toilet, shower, TV and WiFi, bedroom with double bed 160 cm. On the property, there are two cottages, one of which is occupied by us, the owners. The cottage we rent is best suited for two, but there are four beds with sofa bed (140 cm) in the living room and double bed (160 cm) in the bedroom. Bed linens/towels can be rented.

Exceptional cottage next to the alvar

Right next to the Alvar in the small row village is this former emergency cottage next to our house on the farm. We also run the yarn shop "Sticka på alvar". In the spring, the orchids bloom richly here. Several interesting historical sites are within walking distance, such as Dröstarp's deserted village. We have hens, five cats and two dogs. The house is from 1899 but has all the modernities. Barbecue area outside. Here, it is quiet and peaceful. In Gårdby, about 2 km away, there is Eksgården, which is a first-class restaurant, as well as Gårdby café

Cozy accommodation in Vickleby on Öland

On the outskirts of popular Vickleby, a stone's throw from the cozy Capella farm and Bo Pensionat, is this slightly simpler, cozy cottage. In a lush garden surrounded by fruit trees and perennials lies this cottage that was once part of the Öland railway. Vickleby station, which is located on the same lot, is currently inhabited by a family with children. In the cottage there is a bedroom with a 140 cm bed, a sofa bed in the living room and a 120 cm bed in the loft. The kitchen has been newly renovated since 2023. Bathroom renovated in 2016.

Charming little house in Vickleby

Vickleby is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The well-preserved and picturesque village street is an attraction and is counted as one of the finest on Öland. The designer Carl Malmsten founded his school Capellagården in Vickley with an artistic focus. The facility is open to visitors and one of Öland's most visited tourist destinations. There is a café and a shop with nice handicraft products and home-grown plants for sale. Vicklebyalvaret attracts many flower lovers. In May, a sea of orchids spreads out.

Attractive Eastern Village!

Cottage in Eriksöre that has a room with sofa bed, trinett kitchen, fridge and freezer compartment, bedroom with 3 beds, toilet with shower. Porch with view of Kalmarsund. Eriksöre is located about 6 km from Färjestaden south and is an excellent starting point for bike excursions and walks. Many beaches with nice baths are in close quarters. Golf courses such as Grönhögen, Saxnäs, Ekerum and Kalmar are reached within 30 min by car. The familiar Ottenby bird station is accessed by car within 40 minutes.

Modern stuga endast 15 meter från stranden och bryggan som leder dig ut i havet. Boendet som byggdes 2019 ligger naturskönt på Dunö cirka 10 min (bil) söder om Kalmar. Stugan innefattar 25 kvm golv + 10kvm sovloft och har ett fullt utrustat kök samt badrum med dusch. Närhet till motionsspår och flertalet andra badplatser och bryggor. Only 15 meters from the ocean and 10 minutes from central Kalmar you find this newly built cottage. Modern amenities close to the best of nature.

Cozy cottage by the sea

Enjoy the sea and nature in our quiet little oasis. The cottage is located on Boholmarna, 15 minutes by car from central Kalmar. Here you have the cottage and the entire lake property to yourselves. There are many patios on the property and for bad weather there is also a glassed-in terrace. Take a dip at your own little beach or at one of the public swimming piers nearby. Or borrow two stand-up paddleboards and paddle around the islands. Sheets and towels are included.

Charming cottage in historic art village Vickleby

Stay in the idyllic Öland village of Vickleby, known for its creative residents and awarded Öland village of the year 2017. Less than 200 m away is restaurant Bo Pensionat and Capellagården, Carl Malmsten's famous art school. With alvaret just around the corner, amazing nature experiences are at your fingertips. The cottage, which currently hosts 2-3 people, has its own patio, kitchen and a very basic bathroom (outside access only) with shower and WC.

Newly renovated cottage in the charming terraced village of Kalkstad, just 7 km from Färjestaden, and just 20 km from the bridge. Rural location, right next to hiking trails and Alvaret. Open floor plan with living room, kitchen and dining table with room for eight. 1 bedroom with 180 cm double bed. Sleeping loft with mattresses available, if more beds are needed. Bed linens and towels are included.

Öland, Karlevi - charming limestone house in Öland village

Karlevi is a cozy Öland village located next to the landborgskanten about 10 km south of Ölandsbron. During the spring, the small village street between Karlevi and Eriksöre is a well-visited stretch with its flowering slopes and fragrant lilac bushes. The village is located in the cultivated landscape of Southern Öland, which is a world heritage site.
