“Teri is an excellent host who was very proactive with informative communication. She was flexible with our check-in and allowed us to drop off bags early before heading out to explore. Mimi's place was comfortable and cozy for the three of us (mom, dad, 22 year old daughter) and the location was perfect for exploring Shades and Turkey Run State Parks. We used the well-stocked cooking facilities for breakfast and lunch meals and really enjoyed the farm fresh eggs. We also thought the bluetooth, guitar wall speaker was a great touch and the futon couch was very convenient for relaxing and watching TV. Overall, everything was very well stocked (towels, linens, toiletries, kitchen supplies) and there are thoughtful touches throughout. We highly recommend staying at Mimi's Place!”
Close to Rockville, Mansfield, Bridgeton and Raccoon Lake, we are nestled in the woods, off the beaten path and have plenty of outdoor space. Our place is great for people who are looking for a place to relax and get away-a convenient location for hunters and others who would like to visit Parke County. There is one bedroom with a queen and full size bed and also a full size sofa bed in the living room. A gas grill on the deck, refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave are provided .
“Paul and Janet are amazing! Their hospitality is out of this world. Their property is amazing. Paul even came and got my Car unstuck at 9 pm, about 2 miles from His house. Their place was so beautiful, the cleanliness was out of this world. They are Amazing, such nice people, and we will definitely be going back”
The 1938 barn is in the ❤ of Parke County and Covered Bridge Country. You will love the rustic charm of the converted barn that my Great Grandfather built in 1938. Guests are welcome to use the private bar to relax, get a few veggies from the garden, fish my favorite places at the lake or just chill at the camp fire. Enjoy all of the great nature activities around while staying at this unique, secluded country getaway!
“This is hands-down my favorite Airbnb thus far. The drive to this place is filled with adorable farmland and the place itself is tactfully decorated, cozy, and very clean. It's nice to be secluded from cell-signal- really makes you enjoy the badass bar just above the apartment! Joe is a great host- and quick with communication. The location is perfect for a quick drive to Turkey Run, local antique shops, and a killer bar- just down the road. Will 100% try to book the Barn again in the future.”
