Cabin holiday rentals in West Jefferson

I stayed here for 5 nights and had an amazing time! The place was spotless and beautiful. I loved the quiet setting and screened in porch. Close to Grayson Highlands for hiking, also checked out Mount Jefferson and Paddy Mountain hiking areas- absolutely gorgeous. Popped into the Old Orchard Creek general store in Lansing and got a delicious scone & some gifts. There was an awesome craft fair on Saturday in Lansing also. Brunch at Oldhouse Goods/ Third Day Kitchen is highly recommended if you head into West Jefferson! Service is spotty in the area so download maps before you go. WiFi at the house is great, plus there’s a landline phone for emergencies which eased my mind. Overall loved my time here!

Everything we wanted. If all you want to hear and see is nature then this is the place. Amazing property with beautiful views.

Both the cabin and location were absolutely beautiful! Tucked away and private, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to get away. The hot tub worked perfectly, and was very clean. Highly recommend!

This property is exactly as described in the listing. Gorgeous view, comfortable, and easy to settle in to. My kids loved the well stocked toy shelves and hot tub, and my husband and I were able to cook and enjoy the beautiful view on the deck. Heather was incredibly kind, helpful, and gracious in all our interactions. Will definitely book again.

The A-frame was exactly as described. Kitchen was well stocked, appreciate the coffee! Beds were very comfortable and plenty of towels, etc. we wished we had time for one more night here to enjoy all the board games!

Can’t say enough about this place. Everything was as described. Clean, nicely decorated and private. Lots of things to do around the area and if you just wanted to stick to the cabin. There wasn’t once where we thought “you know if would be nice if we had a” or “I need a”… and we opened a cabinet or drawer and there was what we needed. Made it very much like a home and not an Airbnb. Thank you. We will be back.

This was the perfect prelude to our wedding week and a great place to stay for the All Star Race. Host was responsive and the cabin matched all the photos. Great experience.

Marilyn’s space was perfect for a weekend getaway. Compatible kitchen (note there is no full sized oven but this wasn’t an issue), comfortable furniture, and absolutely stunning surroundings. We spent nearly all day outside hiking, wandering the property, or simply sitting in the yard/eating in the gazebo. Would one thousand percent stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful stay! Marilyn was also available for any needs we had and was respectful of privacy at the same time. Couldn’t be happier!

I had a great stay at Jennifer's place. The cabin is so peaceful and feels very secluded while still being accessible to the restaurants and shopping in Boone. Jennifer was very responsive and helpful with any questions, and there is full binder of suggestions for the area. There were nice little touches for anyone traveling with dogs as well. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this cabin!

I booked this trip to escape from work and stress and this was the perfect away for me and my dogs. It was sizable to host our family of 6, plus two dogs. Host was a fantastic communicator and the view was absolutely spectacular. I would mention, make sure you grab groceries in blowing rock or major town. GPS said 45~ minutes from Blowing Rock and we figured we’d find a grocery store. That was not the case, so just plan better than we did! I appreciated the grills and balcony, my one dog loved the space. All furniture was very comfortable we all loved it. I would absolutely recommend! I hope to return in the fall for the leaves changing colors!

Beautiful long weekend away at your family’s cabin. The home is well maintained with every possible touch and amenity easily accessible. Wifi was strong, kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and the wood included for the outdoor fire pit is a huge rental perk. The drive in and out of the neighborhood was so charming and the location to downtown west jefferson made the weekend so easy. We enjoyed the view of the river and our young son loved playing in it too! Great family rental, highly recommended.

We loved it here. Our favorite is the back deck and the view. The kids loved the play room also. It is a great location to go swimming at the lake.

Came down to Trail Days in Damascus Virginia with my wife and two kids. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Would highly recommend!

I stayed here for two full weeks to get away from it all, and it was the perfect retreat! Beautiful rolling hills, clean air, and all the quiet you could want (aside from the occasional donkey bray or coyote howl). I brought my dog and he loved roaming the property freely, as there's lots of space to walk and explore. The cabin was small but had everything I needed - very comfortable and cozy, especially when it rained. I loved sitting out on the back porch in the mornings and evenings. The nearby town of Damascus is a great place to go for restaurants and a stroll along the beautiful creek. The host Ed is a lovely person and was fun to talk to the few times I interacted with him. I highly recommend these cabins if you are looking for the ultimate peaceful getaway!

First time staying in an airBNB, and this place was great! Getting to the spot was a little testy at times, the roads to the cabin are very small and the roads are curvy. Overall the cabin looked exactly like the pictures, very clean! Jared had thought of everything, samples of toothpaste, extra toothbrushes, full size shower bottles, pantry with snacks, board games, etc. it was great staying here with my family and I’d 100% stay at any other property he’d have available. We had a running joke in the house “thanks Jared!” Because we’d just find more amenities he technically didn’t have to offer us! Pls stay here, it was absolutely great!

The cabin was absolutely amazing. We highly recommend. It has everything you need for the perfect getaway to the mountains. Very private, beautiful views, peaceful and a porch that is just unbelievable. We loved the convenience of the gas logs. The cabin is very spacious and is beautifully decorated. Just minutes from downtown West Jefferson but still very private.

A friend and I stayed for a long weekend while attending MerleFest. 30-40 minutes commute to the festival, but very easy. Went to West Jefferson one morning for lunch and shopping. The cabin was just as described. Would love to go back with my husband when the Rhododendron are blooming. So peaceful and beautiful.

Adorable minimalist cabin in the woods. Very clean and well equipped will all the basic needs. No cooking implements, but Renée responded quickly to messages and allowed us to borrow a cast iron skillet so we could cook over the fire pit. The glass construction of the cabin is unique and fascinating - laying in bed and looking out and up at the trees and nature surrounding you - it’s primo luxury glamping!

My friend and I stayed here for a few nights after our camping trip and it was the perfect place to finish the week. The cabin was super clean and had a gorgeous view, it’s also close to some great hikes. Sheree communicated well and was very accommodating. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Our stay at the cabin was incredible! It was even better than pictures, pristine, and the surrounding woods were gorgeous and peaceful! Both West Jefferson and Boone were a short drive away, and we enjoyed everything the area had to offer us. Christy was the best hostess, always being available if we had questions and she even left a kind note and local gift card because it was my bachelorette weekend. I cannot say enough great things about our stay!

This was one of our favorite Airbnb’s we have ever stayed at! It felt extremely homey and was very clean and comfortable. Honestly the beds were so wonderful I’m trying to convince my husband we need whatever mattress they have! We had no anxieties letting our toddler roam around the house, and he seemed to feel extremely comfortable there! The roads to get to the house itself are extremely curvy and steep so thankfully we brought our Subaru which got us up there with no issues! They had little snacks and plenty of kitchen appliances/utilities for us to use. They were so thoughtful with everything they provided! I would definitely recommend this place to any friends staying in the Boone/West Jefferson area!

We absolutely loved our stay! It was such a peaceful and secluded area. We enjoyed the sounds of the stream and bullfrogs in the evening. The cabin was PRECIOUS! We didn’t want to leave. ❤️
