Holiday rentals with a fireplace in West Jefferson

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway then this is the place to go. The scenery was beautiful and made you feel at peace. I would highly recommend staying at the Buffalo Bungalow and we will definitely be going back! Also the host were very friendly and when we had an issue with the tv they fixed it right away.

We had the best time at Stacia's place! It's a brand new home, exceptionally clean, and very cozy. It is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully furnished with everything you would need. We wish we had planned to cook in one night after seeing how equipped and beautiful the kitchen is. The hot tub was spotless and obviously well taken care of. The location is private, and the area is free of the hustle and bustle of traffic in Boone - just our speed. We plan to stay here again!

Yvonne’s farmhouse is absolutely amazing! Exactly as described and was surrounded by beauty! It took me back in time when I grew up in Boone. Beds were very comfortable, couches and chairs were amazing, as well! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed! The farm fresh eggs, juice and milk (along with all the goodies on the bar) was such a sweet and thoughtful touch to this already amazing home! We had such a wonderful time here! Absolutely gorgeous location and the amenities were fantastic. Sadly we only stayed a single night but we enjoyed every part of the house. My wife and daughter were enamored by the creek and outdoor experience even though a flash rainstorm prevented us from experiencing it after dinner. Great place we recommend it!

This cute home was perfect for our West Jefferson getaway. The home had the space we needed and was in a great walkable location. We were able to walk right through the park to get into downtown. The bed was comfy and we slept great! Though we didn’t cook, the kitchen looked well stocked and the home was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay! Great spot for families, very private and peaceful. Good location, close to all the hiking, fishing and things to do in Boone. Appreciated the instructions on all the appliances. Connie was very accommodating and responsive. Would love to come back another time, especially with the pool opening up with the warmer weather!

Lynda's cabin was very well stocked with almost everything that we needed. the cabin is located pretty close to downtown Banner Elk. we would love to visit again.

We really enjoyed staying here. We brought our dogs and it was super nice to have a fence. The fenced in area is just the right size to let them out to go to the bathroom. They had a variety of gaming systems, which were really cool. The bedrooms were on different floors so two couples could go and still have plenty of privacy. It was really close to downtown Boone. Not walking distance, but a short drive. We loved it and would stay again.

Quick weekend trip with friends to the Hills of NC! Great getaway and Sarah's Place fit our vibe perfectly!!! Loved walking all over town from our location! Will stay here again!

Had a great stay! The place was peaceful, clean, and surrounded by beautiful trails—perfect for exploring with my dogs. There was plenty of wildlife around, and the home was well-stocked with supplies, including thoughtful touches for pets. Matt was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

This Airbnb felt like home! Everything was perfect. The place was clean and spacious, and the host was super kind and helpful. The jacuzzi tub was our favorite, and the patio views were amazing. I loved the room so much that I used it to propose to my wife. She said yes! This stay will definitely be one we’ll never forget, and we’ll definitely be returning. If you’re looking for an Airbnb, you won’t be disappointed.

We had a great weekend stay in Roxana’s apartment. It was a comfortable place for relaxing and working, and a great home base while enjoying the bike park and local hiking. In the evenings we enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and hot tub. The apartment is clean and comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

This bottom floor apartment was in a gorgeous, quiet neighborhood that was close to all the West Jefferson places we like to visit. It was clean and organized. I loved the little “extra thoughtful amenities” that were available if you forgot things from home. My favorite part was sitting on the porch drinking coffee relaxing while two hummingbirds hovered for a minute.

We rented this house for our family to stay for my daughter’s graduation. We were all able to stay together and enjoy one another’s company. So much better than a hotel! The pool was not open for the season yet but it wasn’t really warm enough anyways. Plenty of bedrooms and beds. Linens were fresh and also plentiful. We loved seeing all the deer. The only negative was driving the narrow roads in the dark. They made me nervous because I was unfamiliar with the area and it was very dark with a high likelihood of deer. Of course definitely not the fault of the host.

Adam, our host was incredible. Directions were spot on, and helpful. Loved the stay and the place. Perfect for our weekend at Beech Mountain. Would absolutely recommend and look forward to coming back again soon!

This is the second time that we’ve stayed here and it’s safe to say that we love it for big family gatherings! The host is very friendly and gave us an early check in and check out time. A beautiful house with a stunning view of the mountains. Not a far drive from blowing rock shops or downtown Boone, supermarkets etc. I’m sure we’ll be back again!

Ron and Martha were the perfect hosts for our family's Thanksgiving weekend. The house is stunning and the views breathtaking. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen which provided everything new needed to cook all weekend. Ron and Martha provided detailed directions and instructions for our arrival and parking and were super responsive to our questions. We look forward to being able to stay here again!
