Kid-friendly holiday rentals in West Point

We stayed at Sarah's place during graduation week at West Point. The house worked well for our group of 8. We loved having such a well equipped kitchen and the comfortable beds. The yard is beautiful with a great patio and, grill and fire ring out back. We saw a lot of deer and the view of the Hudson River is fantastic. Sarah was a great host! I definitely would recommend staying here!

Lovely place with lake views. 100% happy with this choice vs other offerings in the area. House is set on a hill so you are viewing the lake from a higher spot than if you were literally on the lake. Very majestic. There are binoculars on the window sill to check out boats/things going on. I enjoyed the decor/sense of style the host has. Lots of interesting books, art, turntable, board games, cards, etc. The gardens, koi pond are well maintained. Rooms and bath upstairs do have lower ceiling but this info is disclosed in the ad. It didn’t detract from the experience. Went hiking but we were not avid hikers so learning to read the trail markers was new for us. The town is very small but we found nice spots to eat/visit nearby. We did use kitchen and coffee maker. Appliances are very new. Plenty of kitchen utensils. Cool hairdryer. Host def. appreciates design. Thank you for letting us stay a few extra hours past check out. Wonderful time! Felt like I really got away from the stress.

Mahmoud was a wonderful host. Very responsive, pleasant, and helpful. His home and the views were spectacular, and the koi pond was beautiful. It’s a great location to stay while visiting West Point, as it’s a quick drive across the Bear Mountain Bridge. Our large group felt comfortable and welcomed. One of the bedroom descriptions could have been listed a little clearer because you need to pass through the master bedroom to get to it. Luckily our family was ok with that. We would stay again.

This house was truly AMAZING! The level of thought that this host put into this home is truly outstanding. This was way more than we ever expected. Modern decor and amenities throughout, and the "backyard" is a true oasis! All the things you might need for relaxing or entertaining! The hot tub was great and provided an amazing view of the mountains. Relaxed by the fire pit for evening drinks. Each bedroom had super comfortable beds and plenty of space to feel at home. Forgot something you might need?? Don't worry this host remembered! If you are a foodie, this kitchen had it all, including a wide variety of coffee and tea options, a few snacks and drinks. We could go on and on, but just know the pictures don't even do this place justice! Also had great host communication!

Exceeded expectations for our stay!! Perfect for our family weekend - comfy beds for the long flight-close to all the Westpoint activities- coffee- ice - and filtered water A+++ would definitely look to book here again!!

This airbnb is absolutely stunning. It looks even better than the pictures. Though it’s only an hour driving from New York but it’s feels a real disconnect from the city life - very peaceful surroundings. You can over look into the mountain far away and enjoy sunset everyday. The movie room downstairs creates a theater experience. We have painted a wonderful memory over the weekend at this Airbnb - felt sad when we close the door behind us on the last day.

Benjamin was extremely responsive and helpful during our stay. We loved the amenities and beauty of the home and the surrounding area. Well worth the stay to relax.

We loved our stay at Joe and Emily’s! They were such gracious hosts with lots of detailed info/instructions and even apple cider donuts on arrival! The house was spotless and close to so many different activities. We would love to stay again! Thanks so much for a wonderful weekend.

James&Kelly’s place was a lovely stay!

The apartment was beautiful and exactly as described. It was newly renovated, clean, easy to locate, and in a prime location. We met Graham when we got there. He was outside working on more renovations, and he became a friendly face and helpful resource throughout our stay. The patio was definitely worth it. It was so peaceful and serene to just sit in the hot tub and stare off at the creek and mountains. The less than 10 minute walk to town on the abandoned tracks was so easy, romantic, and fun. This is a great place to stay for couples or families!

Kathy was a great host and very accommodating. She communicated clearly and promptly, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The apartment was spacious, cozy, and impeccably clean - it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect , right on the river with stunning views. It was peaceful and quiet. Highly recommended!

My wife and I spent a weekend at Lorelei’s Airbnb. Lorelei greeted us upon arrival to show us in. We had a guest on the wall leading to the door, a snake was there to see us in as well. Lorelei’s apartment is quite spacious and very clean. The kitchen is well stocked and you can easily create delicious dishes. Our schedule was such that we ate out the entire weekend, so no cooking for us. We were very busy on Saturday enjoying The Hudson Valley which we finished the day with a recommendation from Lorelei, Moo Moo Ice Cream. Super delicious! If I ever visit the Hudson Valley again this is where I’ll be looking to stay.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The home is very beautiful and clean! Felt extremely comfortable and at home as soon as we walked in. Amazing hosts as well, they were very accommodating to what ever we needed and very responsive. I personally loved that beacon is only a 12 minute car ride, there is so much to do over there. And the scenery around the area is soo beautiful. Very peaceful and quiet at night. 10/10 definitely recommend, I would definitely book again.

Easy access to local towns but private and secure. Exactly as described…no surprises! We would stay again when visiting.

We loved it here! The apartment was comfortable and clean, with a nice kitchen and comfortable, quiet bedrooms. The electronic locks made entry and exit a breeze. Nice bakery next door with good espresso drinks, and walking distance to other pleasant eateries. We could walk in the neighborhood, take the tour of West Point, and celebrate at the nearby Thayer Hotel. Would definitely come again, if we are in the area

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Vernon, New Jersey, right by Mountain Creek. The one-bedroom space was exactly as described in the photos—clean, cozy, and inviting. The accommodations, including the pool and hot tubs, and sauna were fantastic and easily accessible. The host was very responsive to messages, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Perfect location right next to the mountain. You could tell Kristof put a lot of thought into the unit. Room was clean with all the amenities you need (and some more in case you forget). He was super responsive no matter what time of day. Check in / out was seamless and private parking in the hotel was vital. Will DEFINITELY stay here again if we come back to the mountain!!

I enjoyed my stay here! Gorgeous condo with an absolutely breathtaking view. Decided to stay here for my friends wedding and it couldn’t have been a more perfect spot. Thank you to Paul and family for allowing me to stay at your home.

I've been to the Appalachian a few times over the years...this unit was clean, updated and spot on...near the elevator and great view of both the pool area and the mountain.

It is a great location, with plenty of things to do in the immediate vicinity. The unit was quiet, clean, comfortable, and provided everything I needed for a week long stay. The owner was very responsive to any query, and I did not have any issues with the unit during my stay. I'd work with Henry again for a future stay in Vernon, NJ.

Dan’s place is cozy, comfortable and just minutes away from Mt. Beacon in one direction and ten minutes away from Main Street in the other direction. The kitchen is stocked with cooking essentials, though there are so many delicious restaurants nearby- the best of both worlds! The bed was extremely comfortable and the jetted bathtub was a huge bonus. I genuinely relaxed there, which is a rarity for me. Thanks so much, Dan!
