The beautiful half-timbered towns of Witzenhausen and Hann. Münden are only 10 km away. Likewise, our little ones (and big ones) can expect an enchanting old-fashioned/modern original amusement park.

The direct access to the forest invites you for hiking and relaxing walks. Along the three rivers there are great bike routes. The historic old town (20 min) and shopping facilities (5 min) are also within walking distance. Free parking is available on the street.

You will stay in a cozy, very bright basement apartment in a wooden house built according to building biology guidelines. The apartment has its own entrance, a beautiful terrace and the garden (fire pit) can also be used. In addition to a kitchen with an oven and fridge, a washing machine is also available. We are located in the Südeichsfeld, a gentle low-mountain landscape. Nature and surroundings invite you to hike or cycle. Draisine riding, visiting castles, climbing forest, visiting the Worbis Bear Park or excursions to nearby half-timbered towns are popular excursion destinations.

Stylish historic half-timbered courtyard, combined with modern interior design and the latest technology. Hiking riders are welcome. The landscape invites you to hike (Kaufunger Forest, Münden Nature Park), cycle, but also to visit Kassel or Göttingen (e.g. World Heritage Site Kassel Bergpark). Both cities can be reached in a 30-minute drive. Bikers are also welcome. There is ample space for horses or motorcycles/bicycles.

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.
