Our historic bungalow is in the quiet Five Points neighborhood, less than a mile from downtown Asheville and less than 1/2 mile to UNCA campus. There is a keypad private entry to this walk-out suite. Guests can access the yard and gardens, a covered porch with a swing bed, and an outdoor dining area. There is off-street parking. Walkers enjoy proximity to downtown, the Botanical Gardens, the Reed Creek Greenway, coffee shops, bars, and restaurants. There is also sauna/cold plunge availability.

The space is light, quiet, and cozy and we’ve used it as a retreat and healing space. Come enjoy some of the cleanest water and reset your vibe!

Welcome to The Understory. Nestled deep in the rhododendron covered woods, this romantic hand-crafted tiny home offers you a peaceful and memorable stay just 15 minutes from both Asheville and Black Mountain.
