Thyme cottage was such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The cottage is characterful and comfortable and well equipped. The fireplace was a wonderful, warm touch. The village of Woodbury Salterton is charming and friendly and close to Exeter. The Diggers Rest is a must! Stop in for a friendly pint or even better for a meal. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. Thyme cottage will be among our top stays.

Great location and property to explore the area of the Exe Estuary and around Budleigh Salterton. Catherine's instructions were spot on, she really does provide a home from home experience, down to basics in the kitchen for our use and the pint of milk and loaf of bread was a lovely touch. Plenty of towels of all sizes! Comfy large sofas and bed. A nature reserve is walkable so if you are into wildlife, then its well worth a walk to Budleigh Salterton and Otterton Mill. We were lucky to see many birds and hear those hiding. Even a beaver came out on the River Otter on an evening walk. Food at Sir Walter Raleigh pub, a community owned pub, extremely friendly, was excellent. A real great local pub. L'image Cafe in Budleigh great for coffee and brunch and Topsham a quaint village. You can take estuary boat cruises from there, we ran out of time. Needless to say, we loved the area. Nature reserves around Topsham and one is on a cycle route with bikes to hire in Topsham.

Great place to stay. Quiet area but walkable distance to town and beach and well situated for exploring the surrounding area. Apartment modern, well equipped and comfortable. Spotlessly clean. Great smart TV - Disney plus a bonus! Information provided about local area was really useful. Highly recommended.

Michelle was very responsive. The annexe was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Fresh coffee and choices of tea were left for me. I was greeted by Michelle and shown around the annexe. She thoughtfully left 2 delicious cream teas, bottles of water and fresh milk. The annexe is very peaceful. The high street is a 12 minute walk away through a park. I did not explore the area any further as I was on a Devon Beaver Tour so all my time was accounted for. I would definitely recommend Michelle as a host.
