Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in York

This host is prepared! The many thoughtful details made this stay delightful— traditional candies made in York, prosecco, lots of brochures and local suggestions, nice shampoo and toiletries. The walk to town is very doable. We were able to check in an hour early as our train arrived early. Also, we had to abandon a broken suitcase. Stuart was great about helping us with that. Thanks!

Home from home. What a wonderful place! It was our first time visiting York and we had such a brilliant time, we will definitely be back! And we wouldn’t stay anywhere else other than Graeme’s place! The accommodation was within walking distance of the town centre and had everything we could possibly need during our stay. The place was spotless throughout, the bed was very comfortable with good quality bed linen and the shower had good pressure. We were enjoying ourselves so much we ended up staying extra night! Thanks again Graeme for a lovely stay :)

The house was well positioned close to the river, making for a pleasant stroll into the city and public transport. It contained everything needed for a comfortable stay, and was a cosy retreat after a long day of exploring. The host Mike ensured that check in went smoothly and was quickly responsive to questions (like how to walk there from the railway station). Highly recommended.

Lovely house very clean and tidy, lots of dvds and tv has free view, Netflix etc, very well equipped has everything you need, great location for us visiting Bramham horse trials. Will definitely stay again.

It is difficult to express how great the house and area was. Gaynor made us feel welcome and almost valued friends even though we actually only met her face to face on our last morning. Everything in the house worked and was geared to making our stay at the house enjoyable. Sean’s house is absolutely pristine, beautifully finished with all the amenities you could need and very comfortable. York centre is an easy 20/5 mins walk away although the house is on a good bus route and there is an Aldi just round the corner. Sean was great to deal with and responded very quickly. We had a great stay and will definitely book again!

Lauras place was beautiful, her instructions on finding the place were perfect and the parking spot is a plus! Being conveniently close to the park and ride to get into York centre was very good! Laura has utilised the space wonderfully, it’s beautifully presented and the outside area is a bonus to sit and have a coffee in the morning. The place itself was beautiful and very well equipped, with snacks, coffee, tea, milk and bathroom accessories (shampoo, soap etc) beautiful towels and bedding and even an air cooler. Huge TV with Netflix and Disney. Everything was perfect. Very clean. We will definitely be returning! Thank you

Just had a wonderful stay at this property, which is located just a couple of minutes walk from all the shops, restaurants and bars. The check-in details were on point and we easily found and accessed the property with no issues. Once inside the photos were a true representation of the flat. The location as above was second to none, although next to a fairly busy road (masked by bushes), the glazing did a great job and we could not hear anything, it was also nice to look out over the town walls. We only had 1 issue regarding cleaning and that was the cooker hood, which did not look like it had been cleaned for months, leading to a strong cooking smell all over the flat. So ended up cleaning it myself and contacting Pass the Keys who dropped off additional dishwasher tablets (even though on instructions it stated not to use the dishwasher). All in all a great property, easily walkable to all the main attractions, with parking right outside the door.

Lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Very warm and friendly welcome from the hosts, Suzanne and Ian who were there to meet me and explained how everything worked. Welcome pack a nice bonus and very much appreciated after a long drive. Flat was beautiful, light and airy but at the same time, homely and welcoming. Very peaceful location and felt very safe there, something very important to me as a female guest staying on my own. Great communication and the few queries I had during my stay were answered very quickly. Local shop within walking distance for anything you might need and a coffee shop which looked very inviting and a must try venue for next time. All-in-all, a wonderfully relaxing stay.

Our stay in York was just what we wanted. The flat had everything we needed and provided a perfect location for visiting York with it being a short walk from the minster and town centre. The entire time Melanie was attentive, friendly and went above and beyond to provide detailed instructions for accessing the flat. Highly recommend this property and the host for a weekend away to explore the city!

The garden flat is a lovely find tucked away a short, pleasant walk from the centre of York. It is well furnished and maintained. The place was immaculate and felt homely too. It was quiet and peaceful and just what is needed after a busy day in the centre. John is a responsive host, but you feel separate from the house and have the space to enjoy your time. Bedding and towels were high end and instructions of how to use all appliances were clear and accurate.

A beautifully appointed, stylish downstairs flat with exceptionally tasteful decor and fittings all to a very high standard. A luxurious kitchen with everything provided including complimentary teas and coffee as well as milk in the fridge which was very much appreciated and a good range of quality kitchen appliances and crockery. Excellent host who communicated perfectly and provided clear instructions about the facilities available. We definitely have this on our list for a return visit sometime and have already recommended it to friends and family.

A perfect home from home - everything has been thought about what you could need. Perfect location, very close to bus routes into York but so peaceful to come back to after a busy day exploring. Great to have some basic provisions provided - the lemon cake gets a special mention, Jill was very kind to make it dairy free for my wife, extra delicious. A great place to stay and highly recommend!

Fabulous stay at Jo's place, spotlessly clean, had all the amenities and so peaceful. Loved watching the chickens in the gardens. Unfortunately didn't get to meet Jo in person, but all correspondence through Airbnb she promptly replied to. Thanks Jo, we would love to come back. ❤️

From booking our stay at Ashley’s apartment right through to check-out, our experience was excellent. Ashley was always responsive when we had a question both before and during our visit. The apartment was perfect for what we needed: clean, modern and within a 15 minute walk of York’s key landmarks, such as the cathedral and the Shambles. An absolute gem and would definitely look to book again when we next visit York. Thank you Ash for a wonderful stay!

We spent one night at Bumblebee Cottage and everything was spot on - good location, easy check-in process, clean and comfortable accommodation. We were very grateful to Georgie for her flexibility with the checkout time and her understanding when we accidently broke a glass. Highly recommended for anyone staying in the area.

Jackie’s spacious Airbnb was 5 star+. This was the best Airbnb we had stayed in. The location was peaceful and quiet. Jackie had thought of everything to make it feel like home. Beautifully and tastefully furnished. The kitchen had everything required to self cater. The basket of goodies was much appreciated. Very comfortable bed with extra pillows and crisp white linen. The large bathroom included a washing machine and a fabulous shower. Communication with Jackie was easy and she was quick to respond to my questions. I would highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone visiting York and it’s surrounds.

We enjoyed our stay in Sophie’s place. The accommodation was spacious and very comfortable. It was also well situated for exploring the delightful city of Ripon and the surrounding area.

Highly recommended. We’ll certainly book again when visiting Malton.

That saying “The Pictures don’t do it justice” is exactly true for Diane’s apartment - the pictures looked beautiful but the reality is even better. Very clean and everything you need. Great location and such a beautiful town with friendly people - we got the train into York one day, the station was less than a 10 min walk (station cafe is AMAZING) - all in all a great stay and hope we can come back again soon - thanks Diane! Excellent apartment, we stayed for the week as we were going to a wedding in Harrogate. The apartment was so central to everything, the bus station, the train station, and the main shopping area. The apartment itself was equipped to the highest standard, and the extras Maureen provided were a lovely touch. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting this area. And I would certainly book this place again when visiting Harrogate. Thank you to the host Maureen, your home was beautiful.

Perfection!! Clive's place is a wonderful place to stay. Clive and Julie are great hosts, friendly, helpful, accommodating and very welcoming. The welcome 'goodies' were very appreciated and tasty. The unit is very tastefully decorated and well appointed, the bed is super comfy and the shower is large with good water pressure. The outdoor area is a real delight, we sat and watched the ducks, the other birds (saw kingfishers!) and the squirrels. We had everything we needed for a happy, memorable stay. There are lots of walks in the area, plus a number of interesting things to see and do. It's an easy train ride to York, Harrogate and Leeds and the station is a short walk from the unit. There are a lot of pubs and cafes within easy walk - The Half Moon pub does delicious pizza! Overall, we very highly recommend Clive's unit and would return often if we could.
