Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Yorkshire

What a beautiful home in a beautiful location, we spent a long weekend here celebrating my partners 30th birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Andrew and Phillipa were perfect hosts and even left us a lemon drizzle cake on arrival which was a lovely touch. The view is incredible with such peaceful surroundings, allowing us to fully rest and recharge. We hope to visit again sometime

We had a lovely stay at Tethera Nook with our dog Luna! Emma and Craig were brilliant and it was lovely to see them working so hard on their gorgeous garden while we were there! It provided a lovely place to sit with a drink in the mornings! Their very friendly dog Capone always happy to come and say hello! It felt very private the whole week, walking distance to Kendal town, and we even hiked up to Scouts Scar which was recommended in the guide book (the views definitely did not disappoint). Tethera nook had everything we needed for our stay and with it being extremely hot the fan was an added bonus in keeping us and our dog cool! The eggs and veg that Emma leaves out is incredible and the little gifts of brownies, gin and jams on our arrival kept us going for the whole week! Everything was just perfect for our relaxing week away in the lakes, with close links to the rest of the national park! We would absolutely stay here again!

What a lovely cottage! The views were spectacular! My daughters and I took many pictures of the countryside and of the adorable sheep grazing nearby. The cottage was perfect for resting up and refreshing between our trips to the Chatsworth House and Gardens. The Gables is a lovely end of terrance house on a quiet lane within easy walking distance of Tadcaster town centre. The rooms are large and comfortable and there is a secluded courtyard style garden. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. There are very clear instructions to work the kitchen appliances, WiFi, TV, shower, etc. and recommendations for local restaurants and tea rooms. There is ample parking outside the house. The house was very clean and tidy and well maintained. We would definately stay there again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Tadcaster.

The location was 10/10 - next to the train station. The home had everything we needed, all the kitchen appliances and everything you’d need for a short stay. The outdoor area is so so lovely, the flowers and greenery make it very relaxing. The hot tub was fantastic!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful lodge in Capernwray. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views that we enjoyed every day—it was the perfect setting to relax and unwind. The lodge itself was spotless and incredibly well maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host, Luan, was excellent—friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond to any questions we had. It made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. With space to sleep six, it’s ideal for families or couples. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Jacqui’s place. Everything was as described and all very well looked after and clean. Jacqui was very responsive and introduced herself and got back to us quickly whenever we had questions. The house itself is wonderful, we travelled with our dog and toddler and it had all we needed and more. Didn’t want for anything, we felt comfortable and it definitely had a home from home feeling. Great place! Super spacious and spotless.. comfortably fit three of us. I really enjoyed the quirky style and colorful decor, and there were plenty of books and games to keep us entertained during downtime. Siobhan was very responsive and helpful throughout. The location is fantastic, easy to walk to shops and restaurants, but still nice and quiet. Plus, the views from the window were a lovely bonus!

A lovely loft - perfect and just what we needed for our 2 day mini-break. The loft was much bigger than we anticipated so that was a lovely surprise. The little touches were great too - fresh towels, milk, butter, instructions for the hot tub, even some jigsaws for the rainy afternoon. Everything we needed. The outdoor space was so peaceful. Even though we were on the farm’s property, we felt right at home, comfortable and had the privacy we wanted. The neighbours were adorable - cows and their calves! The outdoor space was secure for our two dogs. Plenty of room for them to stretch their legs and play on the grass. Thanks for a great stay!

This is our second visit in the space of 3 months. We specifically chose to return as it feels like home from home. Lesley and Jez are very friendly and accommodating. The lodge has everything we need, including a lovely garden and wonderful views. We highly recommend this accommodation, and won’t hesitate to book it again.

This bijpu bedsit is perfect for a single person. Peaceful and private, and with everything I needed. The bed was really comfortable, and the whole place was immaculately clean. I was really happy to see environmental measures in place. The location is perfect - spot on for accessing this part of the Lakes, with so many beautiful spots within easy driving distance. Kath's communications were clear and friendly and fast. I would recommend this accommodation and its owners without hesitation.

Lovely place just like the photos clean and simple Great views close to walks for the dogs Really appreciated the tea / coffee milk, cereal etc seems simple but not everyone leaves welcome items ❤️

Booked Jo's place as I attended a wedding nearby and it was perfect. Had all the amenities, was cosy and clean. I recommend Jo's place!

Mike's place was perfect for our 3 night trip to the Colne Valley. The farm shop just across the road and pub a short walk away were very handy. The place was very clean and had everything we needed, and we felt really comfortable as soon as we walked through the front door. Would lo e to come back and explore the area more.

We had a fantastic stay at Paul and Julie's. They went above and beyond to ensure we made the best of our time at the cabin. The cabin itself was cosy and comfortable, with all the perks of the surrounding nature. We would highly recommend this airbnb to anybody who would like a little retreat. Thank you, Paul and Julie!

Saw Callum the host out whilst in the evening - this dudes got some great moves, and an even more fantastic lodge! The lodge has everything you need - mostly because Callum built it all himself - he’s thought of everything. It’s easy to access and check-in, cool decor and open living space, nice amount of privacy despite being in the garden of someone’s house, loved our stay here!

We had a lovely few days here after booking VERY last minute due to a disaster stay elsewhere. We literally booked and checked in within 30 minutes. Space was clean, relaxing and the hosts were very friendly. Within minutes of requesting our stay, we had a response & the hot tub was being filled and heated. We'd recommend, even if you're not into fishing & we'll definitely return. Thanks for saving our Mini-Moon! X

We had an amazing stay in the Peaks. Beautiful views and light in the pod with everything you could need. We enjoyed the fire and cooked in the kitchen, before heading out into the surrounding countryside. Great location and really flexible hosts. I would highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was so peaceful and a complete escape from reality If I’m being really picky I’d say it was a little overpriced, just as being self catering once you bought food to cook (along with all the basics, oil, seasoning, milk etc) it can work out quite expensive. Location was excellent and overall I’d highly recommend. Again being really picky, there was quite a few flies in the cabin, however it is in the middle of a wooded area and things were left to help with the matter, but if you think that’ll be something that’ll bother you.. There was lovely little touches and responses to message were quick! Thank you x

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! As a couple and large dog, we felt very secure and relaxed. The wood fired hot tub was fantastic, and the edition’s sauna was a fantastic bonus. Lots of great walking routes within a short drive away, too. The finishing touches like the welcome paper a guidebook show real care and consideration for their guests. We’d love to come back!

Unbelievable Location, perfect for a little get away from all the noise. Steve was a brilliant host and made us feel very welcome. The lodge is perfect and spotless i would recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for having us we will be back 🙏
