Holiday rentals with a sauna in Yorkshire

Second time at Whitbarrow in Jennifer's flat, we had a great time again.

Gorgeous luxury apartment was definitely worth the visit. Would highly recommend

Nice and exceptionally clean flat, smells nice too. The place looks better than the photos. Kitchen facilities is a bonus. Has washing machine but very noisy, i thought itwas gong to explode! We did not use it again. But only minor thing to complain about. 2 teenagers with us and loved their stay. Surely a home away from home but still having that on holiday feeling . Pet friendly but look really clean and no dog smell nor hairs to be seen. Quiet, very clean and beautiful neighborhood. Good faciliities. Pool and gym free with a pass provided by the host. Need to book the tennis and archery in advance. Walking distance to a clean beach. We walked towards the Filey promenade which is about 30 to 45 minutes. Highly recommended and will come back again.

Patrick’s apartment is a great place in a stunning location, with everything you need for your trip away. The place is ideal for friends looking for a couple of nights away. I would highly recommend and hope to return for another stay.

Jay's Nest it's a great place to stay. Friendly hosts, convenient location, close to the centre of the village and many beautiful walks on the doorstep. Perfect base for those who wish to explore Lake District. The flat has home from home feel. The kitchen has all essentials and no need to wash up, dishwasher does it for you. Clean, working washing machine with dryer if needed. The seating area very cosy with nice views through windows, you can relax after a long day walking. Big bedroom with comfortable bed and plenty of space for storing your gear/clothes etc. Again, super clean, couldn't ask for more. Fair size spotless ensuite with good size shower. Plenty of space to keep what you need in the bathroom. Sadly, due to the weather, we were not able to use the outside area where having a morning coffee or evening drink must be super enjoyable. It was our first time in LD and we will be back to Jay's Nest, that's for sure. Needless to say, we highly recommend Jay's Nest!

Had a great stay at Anthony’s Meadowside Apartment, a lovely flat in a quiet spot on The Bay. Great communication meant it was straightforward to find and check in, and I appreciated the thoughtful touch of a welcome box. Brian the housekeeper was also super-responsive when I called about some missing linens for the sofa bed, and dropped off the duvet cover promptly. Didn’t use the site’s pool facilities, but being on the beautiful beach in under 15 mins walk from the flat was brilliant!

What a truly wonderful little place, there is so much to do for the kids and my two really did enjoy it! The apartment was absolutely stunning, spotless and also very spacious. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to book a trip away to the lakes be it with children or without. We will definitely be coming back!

Lovely apartment for our Lake District stay. Clean, bright and very comfortable, it formed a perfect base for what we wanted to do in the area. It's on a holiday complex so we could sometimes hear other people from the lovely patio area but this wasn't overly intrusiv, and the view is lovely. We ate in the on-site restaurant once which was fine. There is lots of free parking and four EV chargers which we used twice. The attractions of Ullswater, Derwent Water and Keswick are within easy reach - on a wet day we visited the Keswick Pencil Museum which we have not got round to on previous visits and found it surprisingly good. Overall this is a very well kept apartment which formed a very comfortable base for our short stay.

We stayed for a night and the place did not disappoint! Bobsy was so accommodating and made sure that we had everything that we needed. I would definitely recommend and will be returning! Thank you :)

Easy to find, pictures prior to arrival were very helpful! Exceptionally clean and has everything we needed, well stocked kitchen and great area to get to the beach etc Thankyou!

A wonderful welcome with various treats in the fridge and a super breakfast with I could cook myself as I had forgotten to take ingredients with me. Such a nice touch ! Notwithstanding that, there apartment was outstanding with a super sofa and tv for nights in as well as a beautiful garden for peace and yoga. Thanks Bruce. I hope to return. Stay well and thanks for your kindness the world needs much more of that these days.

A lovely modern apartment - it was clean and tidy with essentials (e.g hand soap, dishcloths, towels etc) as described. Beautiful view outside the living room/bedroom, perfect for sitting outside even if its raining since the table/chairs are sheltered. Fast wifi which was great. Communication with the host was great. The closest cafe is lovely too however if travelling without a car other restaurants are quite a walk or bus ride away (10-15 min drive). Lots of long walks nearby - we walked to ambleside via the hills and it was beautiful. One thing to note is the site is quite hilly but it's to be expected in the lakes. Would recommend 👍

I would definitely revisit Jess’s place again. The location is conveniently situated just outside the bustling center, with several bus stops nearby that make it easy to reach the Trafford Center for shopping, as well as visit the iconic Manchester Football Stadium. I had a fantastic time relaxing in the evening by the cozy fire, which created the perfect atmosphere for our mini date night in the flat. The space was incredibly peaceful, allowing us to unwind and enjoy each other's company without distraction. Additionally, there are plenty of local shops and charming urban cafes within walking distance, making it a great spot for grabbing a coffee or exploring unique finds. Overall, the combination of comfort, accessibility, and a vibrant neighborhood makes it a wonderful place to stay.

The place was so nice and perfect for our needs. As a family, the facilities were a great addition, such as pool, pub onsite, games etc! The apartment was perfect for kids as it had games and other things such as highchair and cot. The view was lovely and terrace huge!

We were with the grandchildren for 3 nights. The apartment was so handy to get into Scarborough. We went down the lift and arrived at the spa. Then there were a couple of cafes

Had a two night stay at Ruth’s.fantastic quirky comfortable place.great host with excellent local knowledge.i can recommend the dog and partridge located opposite.

Beautiful property, well worth the visit!

A beautiful well maintained cottage for two. Very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. Rosie popped in to introduce herself and deliver a bottle of wine, crisps and chocolate which was lovely as we only had a two night stay! We would certainly book again if we were in the area.

This place was beyond our expectations. Immaculately presented, super clean, tidy, jaw dropping views. I can't fault it in any way and I can't rate it highly enough. Will definately look to return in the future. Stunning!

A beautiful house in a lovely setting, great for family get togethers, location right on the lake was amazing, & easy access to lovely local town of Glenridding for essentials. Wide range of facilities at the cottage, we really enjoyed the private outdoor eating area next with the wood fired outdoor grill. Very nice well appointed kitchen with quality appliances, bathrooms clean and with quality fittings. Outside garden/woodland area was perfect for us and our dog, although the many steps and steep paths would not suit everyone, but this factor is clearly explained in the information host provides. We found some rooms a little dark, especially on a rainy day but there are some lovely lamps which can be moved around if required. Overall I would recommend this cottage as a great place to stay & enjoy the lake district and all it has to offer.

The place was lovely, a short walk to the lovely beach was the main draw. A good location to explore nearby towns by car. The additional of the on site swimming pool was great. The house the comfortable and great space for the 4 of us. Andree was very friendly and knew if we needed anything we could get in touch. Thanks.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Lock keepers cottage. It's set in such beautiful surroundings right on the River with a spacious roof terrace to enjoy the view. The cottage had so many spaces to relax and enjoy your surroundings and to unwind. we loved the eclectic decor and the quirky details. The location is great for walking and we enjoyed the river walk to Boston and the country park, definitely have loved to stay longer

Really a great stay, everything very welcoming, some excellent homely touches. Both me and my partner really enjoyed the tranquility of the surroundings. Definitely need a car to visit near by attractions but a good distance from all tourist locations. Shops are not so near by so make sure any food you require you take with you! Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a home away from home. Sam has been really attentative and couldn't do more.
