One bedroom with a queen size bed, full kitchen , full bath, and a living room. Grill, chill, relax and enjoy the open field view. This is one floor, no loft. Please understand this is a country setting , the water runs off of a well, it gets dark out here and occasionally wildlife can be seen , frogs can be heard and bugs are found 😊

We share our drive with an Amish family farm and because this is our family home, you may occasionally hear the kids playing or tractors driving by. We are pet friendly, dogs only ($50 per stay, max 2 dogs) with all the modern convenience, fully stocked kitchen, 50" flat screen smart TV, washer/dryer and fast internet. Outdoor fireplace/grill is the perfect hangout just steps from deck overlooking the large pond. 4-person paddle boat is there for use during your stay.

Located in a historic district of Mount Vernon, the Carriage House has been renovated to infuse modern conveniences with historic charm. Just blocks from downtown, the Carriage House is 2 miles from Mt Vernon Nazarene University and 5.5 miles from Kenyon College. The Carriage House features a master suite in the loft with a comfy queen size bed and a separate sitting area with a 55" TV. The main level also has a youth suite in the transformed garage that kids and teens will love!
