The guest suite in the Stöckelkeller near Bayreuth

The Stöckelkeller is the former inn in the village of Unternschreez near Bayreuth. By car, the university is 10 minutes away, the city center is 15 minutes away and the Festspielhaus is 20 minutes away. You will stay on 29 square meters (13 square meters of living & cooking; 11 square meters of sleeping; 5 square meters of bathroom) in modern, friendly rooms. We have equipped the apartment the way we like it when we travel. The house is right next to the small Margrave's Palace Schreez.

It is 35 m2 in size with a large living/sleeping area, a completely new kitchenette in the entrance area. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a new tumble dryer and a washing machine. Cozy studio apartment in quiet residential area, close to the center, with views over Bayreuth and unique sunsets. You can walk to downtown Bayreuth in a 20-minute walk. The train station and an Aldi can be reached in about 8 minutes on foot. The Festspielhaus can be reached in about 15 minutes. A large natural park, the former grounds of the state garden show, can be reached in 10 minutes. You can park right in front of the residential complex, along the road.

Fully equipped apartment for 3 people (4 on request) near the Eremitage Palace Park, 2 rooms, small kitchen, bathroom (shower), private Entrance, hillside location, covered terrace, garden area. Coffee and tea are available. There is an “emergency ration” for breakfast in the fridge. Free parking at the house. Discount for stays of 1 week or more (calculated here by Airbnb), further discount on request for longer rentals, e.g. to festival participants.

Relax in our cozy attic apartment and enjoy the breathtaking view of the Fichtel Mountains! Perfect for hikers and nature lovers: Right outside the front door you can go hiking on the Rauher Kulm or in the Fichtel Mountains. The ideal stopover for vacationers passing through. Also welcome for tradesmen or fitters. Bed linen and towels are included per guest. For groups of 5 or more, 2 must sleep on the sofa bed.

Pure nature in the Fichtel Mountains

Our place is absolutely quiet. In just a few steps you are in nature. It is ideal for 2 adults and 2-3 children. The large garden with a stream is ideal for children. In the immediate vicinity are cross-country trails and the biathlon stadium with ski roller train and ski lift, sledding slope, MTB trails and hiking trails. Fichtelsee is a 20-minute walk away. Die Lage bietet eine optimale Grundlage für Shopping- und Sightseeingtouren innerhalb von Bayreuth, Fichtelgebirge und Fränkische Schweiz. Sie brauchen also nicht zwingend einen PKW um die nähere Umgebung zu erkunden; zumal in Bayreuth ein umfassendes Nahverkehrskonzept per Bus und Bahn existiert, und für Touren ins Umland stehe ich mit meinem PKW (gegen Bezahlung) gern zur Verfügung

My place is spacious and can accommodate up to 7 people. It also has a large balcony with great views of the countryside, to the summit of Schneeberg and Ochsenkopf. It is centrally located to many leisure activities (nature health park, barrier-free cable car to the Ochsenkopf, ski lift, toboggan run, climbing forest). My place is good for families (with kids) and big groups.

Beautiful 3-room apartment near the Hermitage, the golf course and the Lohengrin spa. Downtown Bayreuth can be reached in minutes. Excursion destinations in the immediate vicinity are Franconian Switzerland, the Fichtel Mountains and the Obernsees thermal baths.

Our apartment is located in quiet forest surroundings but within walking distance to Sonneberg town centre. It is perfect for hikers and mountain bikers, with hundreds of kilometres of trails leading into the Thuringian Forest national park from our front door.
