The vacation apartment is located on the second floor of a lovingly renovated half-timbered house. The property is located between Ilsenburg and Wernigerode. From here you can extensively hike through the Harz Mountains or ride a mountain bike. It is also the starting point for excursions by car: Brocken with and without the Harz Narrow Gauge Railway, Hexentanzplatz and Roßtrappe, Ilsetal, Rübeländer Tropfsteinhöhlen, Rappbodetalsperre with suspension bridge, Regenstein Castle Ruins, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg, Goslar and much more.

Sit back and relax – in this quiet, stylish accommodation with its own garden, sauna and hot tub and direct access to the hiking trails in the beautiful Harz Mountains. The colorful city of Wernigerode with its cultural and culinary offerings and the beautiful half-timbered houses is within walking distance (about 10 to 15 minutes). Our vacation home was completed in the summer of 2025 and offers every comfort (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, underfloor heating, fireplace, open kitchen/dining area).

The rooms include a bedroom with a box-spring bed, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, living room with pull-out couch, hallway, luggage storage room, and a covered balcony.

Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Waldlage

Herzlich willkommen im Krafthaus, einem historischen Forsthaus von 1902 am Waldrand des Oberharzes. Über viele Jahre lebte und arbeitete hier der Bildhauer Reinhold Kraft. Skulpturen und Kunstwerke in der Ferienwohnung erinnern noch heute an sein Schaffen und verleihen dem Haus seinen besonderen Charakter. Die Ferienwohnung bietet auf rund 70 m² Platz für 4 bis 8 Personen. Der große Garten und die ruhige Lage am Wald laden zu erholsamen Tagen mit Familie oder Freunden ein.

This apartment in the middle of Bad Harzburg is ideal for romantic stays for two or family vacations. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with an induction stove, oven, dishwasher and all necessary utensils. In the living room you can watch cable TV and stream via the fast Wi-Fi. A quiet balcony overlooks the courtyard. The apartment has a large bedroom with box spring bed and an additional (children's) bedroom with French bed.

This is how to stay on vacation: Three double bedrooms and three shower rooms, a superbly equipped kitchen, fireplace, dining room, small pantry kitchen on the slope, a large furnished terrace area and a fantastic view of the Harz Mountains from everywhere. A double bedroom and a shower room are located on the sloping floor and are accessible via a rustic staircase from the first floor.
