Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ballenstedt

Recommended!! This is our second stay and it was once again brilliant. We look forward to our next visit.

We were 4 adults and 4 children in the house and had a great stay. In Thale and the surrounding area, you can do a lot and the Bodetal is within walking distance of the house. The house is superbly equipped, has a beautiful garden and is simply charming and cozy. The host makes a personal reception and check-in, everything was very straightforward. Please note that a tourist tax must be paid to the city of Thale on site. In any case, we were completely satisfied and would be happy to come back.

We were in the Harz for an extended weekend & the accommodation was perfect. Everything was clean & you felt comfortable right away. The communication with Peter was very pleasant & you had a direct connection. Will come again any time! :)

Great and super friendly hostess! The house was very clean and nicely decorated! We felt very comfortable! The location is great, because on the one hand it is nice and quiet, but at the same time you are within walking distance of the enchanting city center of Quedlinburg. The place is highly recommended!

Nice accommodation. Pleasant beds. Regional charm of the house. The dining area with its bench was cozy, had a great view and atmosphere and immediately became our favorite place. Large garden, where the fox sometimes stops by. The kitchen is small, but offers everything you need. Spices, tea, coffee filters and the like are also included as basic equipment and do not need to be brought along separately. We left some of it there because we had bought it before. Restaurants are within walking distance. All in all, we were very satisfied.

I can highly recommend Hartz Feriengarten. It is a really nice place with lots of nature. The home is very nice and clean with all the facilities you need. The house is beautifully located in a large, varied area with small ponds and streams. Definitely a place we'd love to visit again.

We were greeted in a very friendly manner by Annett at the apartment. The apartment looks a little bigger than it is in the photos, but is perfectly sufficient for a family of four (the two bedrooms are really big). The apartment was very clean and just as described in the description. The kitchen had everything you need. We felt very comfortable. Thanks for the lovely stay! :)

A great location. Very central and yet quiet. A lovingly restored half-timbered house. We felt very comfortable. Marlit and Alexander responded to every question super fast. We will be happy to come back.

Pro: - Clean, friendly, pleasant room climate despite summer temperatures, inviting! -Private parking! - Great value for money! - Friendly host! However, those who need strict rest in the evening and want to have windows open should know that the apartment is located on a main street. Not too much traffic, but still traffic. Overall recommended

We enjoyed our stay here. Uta is a friendly host. The apartment is clean and beautiful. It's situated at the edge of the old city centre. You basically only have to cross the street to get there. We loved the view from the apartment over the old city center of Quedlingburg. For us, the matrasses where a bit thin. I slept in the second bedroom which had two matrasses on top of each other and that was fine. My friend slept in the master bedroom with the double bed and said one matrass felt way too thin. Everything else was great and we felt this was a good place to stay while we explored Quedlinburg. There is no lift in the building and the apartment is on the 5th floor, which is something to consider if you've trouble with stairs.

We had a short but very nice stay in Hasselfelde. The apartment is very centrally located and you can easily reach everything on foot. Nice contact, uncomplicated check-in.

We stayed at Martin's place for almost three weeks and it felt like being at home. The apartment is very spacious (96 square meters), very tastefully and comfortably furnished (very comfortable bed), and the kitchen is equipped with absolutely everything you may need to throw a big party let alone to occasionaly cook a meal for two people. The shop is 3 mins away and you can walk absolutely everywhere, including the train and bus stations (15-20 mins walk, located next to eachbother). Martin is a great and kind host. As we arrived late on Saturday evening, and the shops were closed (also closed on Sunday), he offered to pick us up from the train station and bought us some food for breakfast next morning as a welcome gesture. It was so nice and thoughtful! Quedlinburg is absolutely charming and we had a great stay in the best acommodation one can imagine. Highly recommended. Thank you Martin and Yvonne.

We were four for a week at Lena and Christian's beautiful farm. We felt at home, the mill is really extremely idyllic. The children had fun bathing in the river and on the playground, we were in the Harz mountains a lot for hiking. The property is really a dream and the two hosts put an incredible amount of energy into the care and maintenance of the garden and the mill. If we are in the area again, we will definitely come back. Thank you, dear heart ♥️

We felt very comfortable and well cared for. Ulrike quickly got back to us with questions and the apartment was clean. Restaurants and, for example, the Samson pit were within walking distance and there was a folder with tips and suggestions for activities. The guest cards were also taken care of. Clear recommendation!

Olivia is a great hostess. We found their apartment exactly as it was described. It is lovingly decorated and very comfortable. Everything you need in a vacation apartment to feel comfortable is there. In addition, Olivia provides her guests with care products, some basic foodstuffs, if a purchase was not possible, and a delicious 🍷 wine. We can fully recommend the apartment, a free parking space is available and the residential area is totally quiet and relaxing. After our hikes in the nearby area, we were able to sleep like a log. We spent a week in Olivia's apartment and could have stayed longer. It was our first visit to Bad Sachsa and certainly not the last. A good infrastructure ensures a comfortable stay. We would love to come back and thank 🙏 Olivia for the wonderful stay. 🤩👍🏼

We really enjoyed the getaway with Stefan in Quedlinburg. The apartment is brand new, everything was very clean. In the kitchen, but also in the dining/living room, there were many helpful things as well as nice little decorating ideas. We were there at Easter time and there was even an Easter bunny and Easter eggs. Great that you can also use a parking space for the car. Location is exceptional - right on the market square. There is a supermarket within walking distance and several restaurants. Communication also went well and Stefan was very generous with regard to the departure time. Gladly again!

We spent a few nice days in Goslar with our friends and 2 young children. The place was super nice, perfect for our needs and left nothing to be desired. All communication and handling was friendly and straightforward. If we travel to the region again, we would immediately choose this apartment again.

The newly renovated apartment is beautifully furnished in a typical Harz house. It was clean and more spacious than it looks in the pictures. The beds were comfortable and cozy, the surroundings quiet and beautiful. From there, you can start all sorts of excursions in the Harz. Falko also provided a hiking guide and various suggestions for spontaneous activities. Games and books are also provided for rainy days. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

Very nice apartment🙃 well equipped…feel like home… .very well located…for older guests unfortunately too many stairs…and no direct parking in front of the door…This was a little further away…(with a gate opener but super secure) to get in front of the house you have to drive a larger loop first…we had bicycles with us, the way from the parking lot to the apartment was super fast ,cross to drive🙃

We had a very nice time with you. We had everything we needed & could enjoy every day. Thank you for such a lovely place to stay
