Cabin holiday rentals in Batavia Township

This was just what we needed for a relaxing weekend. We enjoyed spending time as a family playing shuffleboard and pool, fishing, walking the golf cart paths, and sitting around a bonfire. The cabin had everything we needed to cook and enjoy our meals on the deck overlooking the meadow and pond.

What a great getaway! Our son experienced his first time fishing (and catching!) and what a great place to make those memories. It was a quick hour drive to Noahs Ark. The hot tub was squeaky clean and the sunrises and sunsets were spectacular.

We had a wonderful time and the host was very responsive and helpful. My kids didn’t want to leave the pool, the geese and the hot tub! We had a vacation we will never forget. Thank you and we hope to return one day!

Great trip! Loved the town of Hillsboro and the location of the cabin. Cabin was lovely besides the stink bugs, these were a serious problem. Lots of dead ones everyone and definitely had an infestation, took about 6 live ones outside in our 3 day trip. Definitely something to look into but other than that everything else was perfect!

We went to Adams county to take in the beauty and to try our hand at doing some fishing. Frank's place is a great couples get away ! We found the cabin/house to be welcoming and very clean which is important to us. The kitchen is well equipped with up to date appliances which made cooking easy with everything we needed from skillets to steak knives. Grilling out was easy as well as Frank provided coal and wood. We also enjoyed the hot tub which does stand out as being new and easy to use. We did need the AC which wasn't as user friendly, but we did catch on without having to reach out for help with it. The shower works fine, no issues there. Frank's cabin is in a remote place so we were glad we brought everything we could think of in terms of food..... The Amish markets are nearby which were fun to browse and we did pick up a pie and had a picnic lunch there. Thank you, Frank for being a five star host !

This place is fantastic! The cabin is gorgeous, with so much love in the details. There are toys for the kids, basketball outside, a river to play in, and a fire pit. Such a relaxing location with excellent hiking trails nearby.

I'm not sure where to even start! This was a little slice of Heaven on Earth! The land/views are STUNNING. There are so many activities on the property- walking the trails, kayaking/canoeing in the "creek" (looked more like a river to me), pedal boat and/or swim in the pond, volleyball, fire pit for dinner/smores, or, my favorite, relax on the front porch and take in the beautiful views. We were so excited to be able to take our 2 dogs. They had a blast as well! So much room for them to run and they enjoyed the water! The cabin was the cutest! Very cozy, yet, plenty of room for our family of 5. I'm already looking forward to our next stay!

I loved this stay ! It was in a beautiful location , I walked up the road and found a pear tree , behind the house there’s a beautiful open field. I will be returning ! Only thing is that there wasn’t any salt and pepper like listed . But I didn’t mind too much. Also to note I stayed during a warm season and struggle sleeping in the heat, the AC unit is in the living room so that it where I slept during my stay. Host was very responsive and friendly, there are stores nearby with everything you need. I felt very safe here and held by the beautiful surrounding nature.

We loved our time at the Gopher Wood cabin! It was a great spot to unwind after our busy days at the Ark Encounter (20 min drive) and the Creation Museum (1 hour drive). The bird watching was on point and the valley was very peaceful. The place was just like the pictures, and everything was very clean. We would stay there again!

This was the 2nd time we stayed at Tom's cabin. He is very responsive and gets back right away. Great location for us. We will stay again if the opportunity calls us!

out of all the places me and my wife have stayed, this was one of our top stays. Joe was extremely friendly and easy to talk too. he made us feel welcome and was a pleasant person to talk too. there was a lot to see and take in. I would recommend this stay too anyone! we would love to stay there again and so far we plan too! thank you, joe!

Beautiful cozy cabin atop private property offering beautiful views of the Ohio River by day and bright stars on a clear night. If you get a foggy sunrise along the river valley followed by the most sunny day ever, take a scenic drive along the river to Augusta, KY for a foodie's paradise and then to Vanceburg, and so on because there's so many wonderful small Kentucky river towns full of history and adventures awaiting for you. Slow down for the deer and chipmunks!!! Enjoy your visit to this beautiful and peaceful cabin.

We really enjoyed our time at Rabbit Hash. The decor in the Old Hasienda is gorgeous. It was the perfect getaway with my wife. We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay at Molly‘s place. Very clean and had amenities of sugar, flour, coffee, creamer, supplies of toothbrushes, etc in case you forgot something. The beds were very comfortable. Our favorite was the long porch where we sat evenings in the swing, rocker or other outdoor furniture telling stories and making memories. Was able to see the “strawberry moon”. The Creation Museum is very close. The only downside of this property was the difficulty for anyone with mobility issues to get into otherwise it is a charming property.

The cabin was very clean and thoughtfully prepared, and the hosts communicated well. The view of the river was also beautiful, and the bed was comfortable. There was a bit of road noise, but it was tolerable, and it was in a very convenient location. Definitely check this place out, but be careful on the stairs as they are a bit steep.

We loved the little lake ‘camp’. It was well stocked, comfortable and funky in the best way. Jeffrey was very helpful in communicating with us, the yard and neighborhood was calm and pretty and we enjoyed our stay.

We actually communicated with a Louisa not a Shelley but the little cabin was clean. It did indeed sleep 6. They pool is only open from memorial Day to Labor Day so we got there a couple days too early to swim.

Quiet quaint cabin.

The cabin exceeded our expectations. The information supplied and cabin amenities were great. We were primarily fishing and the cabins are very easy to get to ramps, bait, restaurants, etc.. We are a group of retirees with one member who needs wheelchair access and the layout and facilities worked great for him. This was our first visit to a Stone Gate Cabin and it is on our list to return in the future.

Loved our time here! The house was as advertised, spacious, lots of amenities for kiddos and adults. Comfortable beds. Clean. Very quiet and the bedrooms were DARK in the morning with all the trees. Lovely cabin in the woods.

This was the first time staying at Brittany's cozy cabin and I would definitely and highly recommend it. It was in a very convenient location for my daughter's sorority "mom's" weekend at Miami University. It was only a 20-minute drive straight down the street right into downtown Oxford. The detailed instructions were PERFECT. But it was the extra special touches that really put this place above the rest. Because I shared with Brittany that I was planning on making a home cooked meal for my daughter - there was some nice kitchen essentials available that were so appreciated! There was also coffee, creamer, cookies and soda. I felt right at home in this very comfortable cottage! I will definitely consider staying here again!
