Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

Due to our spectacular location we are perfectly suited to those seeking adventure. A cosy, self contained apartment, just 20 minutes from the foot of Snowdon. A mere 5 minutes from Europe’s longest and fastest zip line at Zip-World and 30 minutes from the beautiful island of Anglesey. The property sleeps 4; Consisting of a double bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living area. It has a fully functional kitchenette with small dining area. We are dog friendly and welcome house trained dogs.
