Cabin holiday rentals in Black Mountain

The cabin was lovely and we had a great time there . Communication with owners was easy and prompt. The cabin is hidden in the mountains , but easy to find and with good access . We felt safe . The cabin is 100 years old but beautifully renewed , without taking the feeling that you are in a traditional mountain cabin . We also enjoyed the nearby community and the kind people living in the area . We loved the stay and we plan to return .

Our three nights at 13 Dark Hollow was everything we needed to escape reality for a bit. The cabin was just as perfect as the pictures shown and described. Sipping coffee on the deck while listening to the nearby creek was peaceful and watching mama and papa cardinal taking care of their babies in the holly bush nearby was an extra special treat. After a couple of full days of exploring the area, the hot tub was perfection at the end of the day and the king sized bed was super comfortable. We cooked several times at the cabin and Erica and Richard had all the kitchen essentials we needed to make the meals come together. We will definitely come back!

Loved our stay here! Was beautiful and very peaceful. The bed and couch were very comfortable and being able to enjoy the hot tub and the fire pit made our stay even more relaxing. Would love to go back during the fall. Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful lil stay here. Nice and quiet peaceful getaway. The place was nice and clean, bed was comfy, and the coverd back porch was very relaxing during the rain. The sauna was wonderful!!

Lola’s getaway in Lake Lure was a great stay. It’s very private with beautiful scenery. It’s about 25 minutes to the lake but it’s worth being the distance for the privacy. The owners are very responsive and very nice to deal with. Would definitely stay again.

This was such a cute Airbnb, and exquisitely detailed. The porch was amazing, and I loved cooking in their kitchen, as I had everything that I needed with a beautiful gas range stove. The natural lighting, open concept, and modern rustic finishes make it worthy of booking. Additionally, Marshall is such a sweet little town. I will definitely return!

This is a 5 star review only because there’s not an option for more stars. This place is incredible. The cabin has spectacular views of nature. Everything in the cabin is simple and beautiful. Jessica has thought of everything from welcome card and wine to robes and shoes for the hot tub. The cabin is a short drive to Asheville but don’t miss out on what Weaverville has to offer. Lots of local spots with great food and vibes. Our three day stay was absolutely amazing and we did not want to leave. Cannot recommend this place enough! We hope to visit again!

We had a wonderful time at this peaceful home on a babbling creek! It was beautiful and comfortable. We appreciated the recommendations for local eateries and also utilized the beautiful kitchen and grill. The hot tub and outdoor shower are an added bonus! We loved, loved, loved the creek! We only wished we had brought chairs to sit and relax with our feet in, but the bank worked just fine. Thank you for sharing this amazing place!

This cabin was the perfect spot for a getaway! The cabin itself was just perfect, cozy and clean. We loved the fireplace and walking trails on the property. The downtown area was a short drive away and had plenty of great food and shopping options. I would definitely stay here again it was an amazing trip and it was so wonderful to be able to bring our dog for a whole family vacation!

This place is breath taking. Absolutely beautiful! It’s a little drive from Asheville but most definitely worth the drive. The space was clean and bed was very comfortable. Will definitely be going back soon.

Great little cabin close to Downtown Weaverville. The only thing I would mention is as someone who is 6’4” I had to make sure I didn’t hit my head on anything. For normal sized people it’s a great spot lol.

An exquisite stay! Soul nourishing!

This is one of my favorite stays. I like to do pros/cons to give a balanced review/not come off as a shill, so I'll list some negatives (that I kinda have to reach for) but bear in mind I'd rate John's place a 9-9.5/10. I think the only thing that would bump it to 10/10 would be something extra extra like a hot tub. But let me emphasize: this was a great place to stay, and I hope to stay here again. Pros: -seclusion! lots of peace and quiet. -internet was excellent. -bed was comfortable. -very clean. -very good value. Cons: -it is about 30 min away from groceries/food, so plan accordingly. -driveway is gravel/a bit steep, certain vehicles may have issues. -limited reception, so download maps before coming/watch for road debri Really liked this place. If you want a weekend in, choose this spot. It's not as ideal if you want to go to bars, etc., but you can't beat this place for a weekend staying in watching movies, reading, etc. Hope to stay again. John is a great host.

Jaclyn’s place was gorgeous. It was exactly as described—spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The view is spectacular. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need. The cozy living area made it feel like a home away from home. The host was very communicative and gracious. I would highly recommend the wonderful home.

Verbena Vista was instantly one of the best Airbnb stays our family has had. Clean, wonderfully appointed kitchenwares, cozy mattresses, stunning pine beams and an unbelievable view. The photos in the listing honestly don't do the house and property justice. We loved enjoying the view from the hot tub and hiking nearby trials (Lookout Mountain and Catawba Falls). Plus we saw a show at the Orange Peel -- our kids first ever rock concert. Also -- you'll enjoy the fancy toilet! Our kiddos were crazy over it. :)

It was very peaceful. Loved being out in nature but close enough to the small towns in the area. A lot of places to go for hiking and good restaurants close by

Misty mountains, nature, friendly folk and a little log cabin, with EVERYTHING! You will need to experience this to understand the reviews.

Comfy bed, fresh linens, great water pressure in the shower, lots of natural light in the living area and several cozy seating areas outside (porch and firepit by a stream). The hosts go the extra mile with labeled light switches and electronics, a book of local area recommendations for food and attractions, a bowl of snacks in the kitchen, toiletry basics, and cold water and ice ready in the fridge upon arrival. Ceiling fans in the livingroom and bedroom. The space was clean and well appointed, lots of thought went into making the space comfortable and convenient. Would definitely stay again. I would point out for light sleepers such as myself, the full time tenant in the upstairs does walk pretty heavily so I woke up way earlier than planned on my check out morning by their morning movements. It's understandable for the type of property, just cautionary for anyone who's a light sleeper. Thank you for your hospitality, would stay again!
