My apartment is situated in the trendy “Prenzlauer Berg” neighborhood. The apartment is on the 1st floor (Amer. 2nd), facing the quiet inner yard, well lit through two large French windows. The view features a restored factory and studios. The studio area is 40 square meters in size, contains a double bed, a mini kitchen containing everything to chill and cook. The studio has a lucid corridor and a luxury bathroom containing a shower and bathtub and underfloor heathing. The entire apartment is 60 square meters in size and tastefully furnished, mixing modern and classic design notes. Fast internet is available. The neighbourhood is very well liked and one of the trendiest in Berlin. Bakeries, coffee shops, bike rentals, public parks and a supermarket are in the immediate vicinity. The world renowned “Mauerpark” with its many attractions and flee market (on weekends) is 15 minutes by bike. The street is nonetheless quiet, situated between two large boulevards, with fantastic public transportation to the ariports as well as other central landmarks, and quarters, such as Alexanderplatz, the East Side Gallery, Mitte, Friedrichshain etc. You can walk to the Kastanienallee und Alte Schönhauser Allee, two hip shopping boulevards. A lot of young people live here, I am sure you will love it!

Im Wald leichte Hügel bis 150m, Das Oderbruch ist ohne Steigungen ideal für schöne Radtouren. Schiffshebewerk Niederfinow 15km, sehr interessant. Der Parsteinsee, sehr schöner Badesee mit klarem Wasser ist 15km entfernt, ein Schwimmbad gibt es im Ort und kleinere Badeseen in der näheren Umgebung. Berlin 50 km.

A pretty double room to feel good

I got sick the day I arrived, and couldn't have picked a better location, because the nearest grocer was only 5 minutes walk away. The neighborhood was quiet and clean and private, but still only 15 minutes from the nearest mall and many food options. Maybe that's normal for this area. I don't know, but I was happy. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare my meals for the week and instructions were provided in detail for foreigners who are not used to the recycling process, which I greatly appreciated. The specific room I booked with the two beds, I will say, is more private and more spacious than the single room, and stays cooler because it receives less sunshine. Honestly I have no complaints and hope I didn't keep anyone up late from my coughing. Oops.

Claudia’s place is clearly arranged with great love and care. Everything we needed was there, even the little things that are often missing, like towel hooks in the bathroom! We especially appreciated the attention to detail when it came to scent: the soap, the linens, and the entire apartment smelled wonderful. The weather wasn’t on our side, but the cozy space made our stay really enjoyable nonetheless. Thank you, Claudia!

Very nice apartment in the countryside. Great design and very fine floor. In the morning street a bit noisy because of cobblestones, better to make windows, then ok. everything very nice and tastefully decorated. :) Thank you for everything!

We had a fantastic stay at Heinke’s tiny home! While we were studying abroad in Barcelona, we spent two lovely nights in Berlin, and I’m so glad we chose Heinke’s place. It was very affordable for us and nice to be outside the hustle and bustle of the city. The home is adorable and you can tell that it was put together with love. We knew it was far outside the city when we booked, but public transit got us there in around 2 hours, just be mindful of when the busses leave from the stop (Google Maps has the info)! Though we didn’t get to meet Heinke during our stay, we got to meet her parter Irvine, and he was so helpful showing us all around the property and giving us recommendations for shopping and the lake nearby! If we ever happen to be in Berlin again, we will certainly stay here! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The house and garden are beautiful, heavenly, very well maintained. The cherry tree was full of fruit, we were allowed to harvest and eat delicious cherries. All rooms and the bathroom were lovingly prepared for us. The beds are clean and cozy. We cooked every evening for our large family in the kitchen and ate on the terrace. Charlotte has a cupboard with games, which was great. We played a lot. Charlotte and Malte live next door, so we could ask right away if something was missing. But you yourself are respectful and reserved. Our dog was allowed to be anywhere in the garden. She is sometimes really cheeky, but they were always friendly and understanding. Communication was always very accommodating and relaxed. Generous hosts, the two of them. The nature in the area is still very original. On a walk, we met a fox, a wild hare and wild bird at once. Highly recommended!
