The former gardener’s house, originally built in 1710, is nestled in the stunning natural landscape of the picturesque Holsteinische Schweiz, directly on the Schwentine River, one of Schleswig-Holstein’s longest rivers. In 2025, the house was lovingly restored with meticulous attention to detail. The result is a true gem situated directly opposite Schleswig-Holstein’s oldest manor estate. In recent years, we have lovingly handcrafted a vacation apartment (60 m2) from the former classroom wing of the "Grot School", where the "groten" (big) students had their classroom. The house is located in the middle of Schierensee, an idyllic village with about 400 inhabitants in the Westensee Nature Park. Here you are surrounded by a magnificent landscape, ideally suited for long hikes and bike tours.
