This place is amazing! we had a completely wonderful stay here. It has such beautiful views, was pristine, lovely comfy beds and is perfectly situated for a holiday in Shaldon. We couldn't fault it. Thank you Suki for a really lovely break.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean upon arrival, bright and comfortable. Quiet at night. Nice views from the living area over the harbor and looking over the town from the large bedroom. As Suzanne had noted in the listing, there is no assigned parking space which could be an issue. We had to pay to park the day of arrival. It’s free after 6pm until 8am. One item we’d suggest adding would be a clothes hanger for drying as the machine didn’t seem to actually dry anything. We’d highly recommend Seagulls restaurant (book in advance). Unassuming place but food was excellent. We also liked Platform for a Sunday roast and Rise for breakfast. The George was decent. If we’re back in West Bay, we’d definitely stay again.

Delightful stay. :) Hosts were helpful, friendly, and very welcoming, and the property is gorgeous! Set in beautiful surroundings, and felt right at home in the perfectly appointed accommodation - would absolutely recommend!

As advertised and simple charm. Centrally located minutes walk to main high street, gardens, attractions. The small bathroom and shower were notable but shower worked well. Top tip would be to visit St. Sidwell’s Point Leisure Center Spa. There is a full sauna, steam, hot tub, outdoor rooftop lounge that can be booked at 3 hour increments for reasonable rate. The Gaia Spa massage with Katsha (sp?) was worth every penny and saved me after long haul flight (woke up at 4:30 am unable to walk comfortably, by 10 am I was back in action and walked over 14 miles). I told my four-year-old we had been invited by 2 queens to stay in their castle—and what queens they were! Such a friendly reception and what a wonderfully whimsical place. The location is fabulous: you can’t see another property, just rolling hills of sheep (the friendliest photobombing sheep I’ve ever come across!), chickens, cows, horses… and the dogs are such a sweet, quiet presence too. Beds are luxurious and the whole house is super cosy with a fab little private garden. A real gem! Would definitely return.

Another fabulous stay here. We always enjoy our time at Louise’s place. As always, extremely clean, well stocked, and lovely little personal touches and amazing views. Louise is always very helpful, lots of great recommendations. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was centrally located with all amenities close by. We appreciated having a parking space. We enjoyed the tramway, Seaton marshes, walking to Colyford and Colyton also walks along the costal path to Beer and beyond. We ate at the Old Garage Colyford, it was excellent. Garth and Anne’s home was perfect for our visit to the University of Exeter Open Day. It’s just a ten-minute walk to the St Luke’s Campus, and either a half-hour walk or a convenient free shuttle to the Streatham Campus, ideal for our needs. The house itself was spotless, with a spacious, light-filled front room, and the location made it easy to walk into Exeter city centre. It’s also a great base for day trips, such as to Torquay. Garth and Anne communicated clearly and promptly throughout, and as a family of four, we found the space very comfortable and well-suited to our stay. Highly recommended!

Having grown up in the area, Kennel Farm is the place we choose to come back for our family holiday every year. We love the house and surroundings. Excellent location and Tanya is a perfect host. Highly recommend.

We went as a multi generational family and the house was perfect. An easy walk to the beaches and town centre which meant that we didn’t need to use the cars all weekend it was ideal. Thank you

Lovely little base to come back to in the evening. Good location for exploring Devon. Tucked away so you don't feel overlooked. Appreciated the mini fridge and microwave. Comfy bed. Enjoyed watching the birds & dragonflies in the garden. Nice people. Easy parking. Excellent value for money.

We chose this venue as it was recommended by Upton Barnes’s wedding venue where my son and his fiance were getting married. We were able to accommodate all of my side of the family for the wedding and the newly married couple joined us on Sunday to entertain members of the wedding party With a cooked breakfast followed by a barbecue lunch. There was plenty of space seating and parking for the approximately 25 people who visited us over the day.. Tracey was very helpful host and the house was equipped extremely well a three-year-old grandson had an enormous range of toys to entertain him. I cannot recommend this property more highly

An absolute gem. Such a beautiful place, even better than the photos. The garden is gorgeous with comfy seats. It is fully dog-proof (if you have a small dog there is one stretch under a trellis they could get out, but my spaniel couldn’t). The whole interior is lovely and well equipped. The shower is lush. Wonderful dog walks within walking distance of the house (you can see them on the footpaths map online) and at the coast a short drive away.

Had a great stay here! Got everything you need and more! Walkable into the city centre and there’s loads of shops and restaurants only a 10 minute walk away so would for sure stay here again in the future thank you!

We had lovely stay ! Beautiful, comfortable home in a picturesque setting. Very well equipped, had everything we needed. Venetia was very welcoming and helpful. Incredible value. Would visit again in an instant!

Had a great time staying here with all the family, the house is so close to the beach it was perfect for us! Was such an easy and chill stay with a surprise hamper full of goodies when we arrived. Would love to stay here again and Tristan was super helpful with recommendations and extra info!

Had a booking cancelled at short notice and had to find an alternative sharpish.. found this one and the host was back to us straight away and remained in regular contact. Directions and getting in were easy and we even got notification that the accommodation was ready early. Very clean and comfortable inside - nice and cozy Great job by the host.

Excellent stay at Tom's property! great location to walk into Totnes highstreet, packed with loads of independents. Train station a 2 minute walk. A lovely property to stay in, beds supper comfy and has everything you need. Will definitely look to stay again.

We stayed at The ApARTment for 4 nights and loved our stay. We were a group of 4 adults and had plenty of space. The setting is beautiful, with great views from the living space of the surrounding hills, down into Dartmouth, and across to Kingswear. You could happily sit and stare at the view for hours! Simon and Theresa were brilliant hosts. Theresa was very communicative via messages and really welcoming when we arrived. Simon had some good recommendations for places to eat. Both were really friendly and relaxed when we bumped into them. All amenities are as listed and we had no problems self catering. The kitchen had everything we needed. The furnishings are comfortable and the whole place was immaculately clean. Finished with an artistic touch, including some of Simon's own work, the decoration is fantastic! It was walkable to Dartmouth for those that dont mind some hills! We wouldnt hesitate to book again, and I'd recommend The ApARTment to anyone.

A very tasteful modern and pristine apartment with the most amazing views along the Jurassic Coast - what a place to relax. It is reasonably close to the beautiful town of Lyme Regis walking however the return journey is challenging and is not for everyone. It is so convenient though for the many walking routes in the area which we really enjoyed. Thanks Melanie and David for wonderful stay ( loved your new lawn mower David, we might have to get one too! )

We would highly recommend a staying here for either a short stay or long one. Close to the harbour and you don't need a car to get around the town. The cottage is so cosy and comfortable and you have everything you need here. Rebecca is an awesome host and responded to any questions very quickly. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Gregor’s place was perfect for our stay in south Devon. Comfortable and everything we needed as a family. The boys loved the swing in the garden and the snakes and ladders. It was close to some beautiful beaches and the nearby newton ferrers and Noss mayo were pretty. Recommend the green deli cafe! And the ship inn.

This was my second stay here. An ideal location if you have dogs as the park is just across the road . Luke provides lots of little extras which are appreciated. Good value for a self contained one bedroom flat.

Another lovely stay at Palmdene. This place really is home from home and so comfortable. Love being able to stare out to see from both the kitchen and the living room. Everything we need is there. Great place for going onto Paignton beach (approx 10 mins) or go over the top and head to Goodrington beach, it will take a bit longer but the views are stunning. Booking again very soon.
