If your looking for a place to unwind from life, this home is where you need to stay! It has all the amenities that you will need and is close to several attractions when you want to play! Being in the area to visit with family it met all our expectations! But the best feature is the covered porch with a swing - you really won’t want to leave!

My friends and I had a great time staying here! The hosts were super sweet and very responsive! You could tell that they cared about their guests by the way they messaged. I love the cute retro aesthetic the place had. It was a super fun place to stay at. Definitely worth what we paid!!

OOOOO, AND AHHHH! Comfortable luxury inside and out! Thoughtfully designed, and beautifully decorated inside and out, Whitetail Ridge is a couple's paradise on a private hill. Hosts go the extra mile to ensure guests feel welcome and safe. Everything was as described and pictured, and more. Favorites? The spectacular bathroom. Made me feel like a princess! Both covered decks. It rained a lot during our stay, and we could still be outside by the fire table watching the hummingbirds go nuts. Sitting around the fireplace after relaxing in the hot tub. Location is great too. Close to town for groceries, and close to state parks for hiking to waterfalls, which is why I chose this area. Not just a place to stay, it was an experience. Such a beautiful and lovely place. You can tell that thought was put into every inch of the space. It was exactly as described. Definitely a 10/10 place.

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Sparta. It was very close to everything in town, but at the same time quiet and private at the home. Beautiful back yard with and incredible view of the calf killer river. House was very clean and cozy. Lots of games and ping pong table. Didn’t have time for fishing this trip, but looked like a great spot. Jessica was very kind and made our stay hassle free, would definitely stay here again, 5 stars!

We were in town for my son’s wedding and needed to check in early and Hunter was very accommodating to us! The place is absolutely beautiful and peaceful sitting on the Caney Fork River! Thank you for sharing your house with us ❤️

Caleb’s house was gorgeous and spotless. It was very easy to find and it was super easy to navigate to local businesses. Caleb was also very responsive and helpful. Would absolutely book again!

We love staying in the Barren Rest! The property is gorgeous, the bed is comfortable, and it was lovely having a kitchen to cook and eat together. We look forward to coming back!

Our family enjoyed staying here - we wish it would have been for longer since the loft was so home-feeling and comfortable. After a long 8 hour drive with a 13-month-old we were able to just rest while he ran around the loft to burn energy (we used the dining chair as a baby gate to the staircase). The bathroom/bedroom were all very clean! The bed was comfortable and the fan in the bedroom was helpful to keep it cool in there all night. The couch and the recliner were all very comfortable too. The view is AMAZING, it’s so peaceful especially watching the bluebirds fly around the barn. The host provides books, board games, Children’s books, TN hike and trail recs, and more! A huge perk for me was the Starbucks k-cups (bring your own liquid creamer).

What a great place to stay! A beautiful spot right on the Caney Fork. Fall Creek Falls, Rock Island, and the new Scotts Gulf park were within easy driving distance. The space had everything we needed and more and the hostess Jeanne is the best!

Very nice accommodations.

Very spacious, very clean & adequately equipped. Be prepared for one of the bedrooms to be a walk through to the shared courtyard area - not an issue for us as it happens. Full blinds for privacy if needed. Bring matches / lighter & wood / charcoal for the BBQ & firepits! We were lucky to be able to use charcoal that was left for us (thanks you host) & borrow matches from guests staying upstairs (thanks you!). Hosts were very prompt to communicate & accept our short notice booking. Very pleased with our stay.

searched for a peaceful private tucked away spot for a short getaway and this place was perfect and provided all we needed. it's proximity to town and fun along with its price point checks all the boxes. the house is well furnished and all the needs are met and well thought out. Ours was a short stay but given more time we would have had the opportunity to take advantage of all the place has to offer. the only negative there was for us was being just the two of us that television upstairs would have been nice but I understand the positives that set up creates for larger families staying. can't wait to find an opportunity to come stay again. thanks for a nice weekend!

Amazing place, beautiful surroundings. They have adorable animals like, goats and hens. Fantastic forest right next to the cabins. 5/5 would recommend.

This place is amazing. It is quiet and very peaceful. The place looks a lot better in person. Very homey, very comfortable and everything you need and much more. Fresh yard eggs and waffles and cookies and brownies when we arrived. Mr Phil made us a nice fire for roasting marshmallows and s’mores. Mrs Wendy was so informative about Monterey and a very sweet lady. Next time we are in the area we will be sure to stay again.

This was the perfect place for my husband and I to get away for a couple of days. We ended up spending a lot of time at the house, because it was so comfortable and relaxing. To start off, the place was incredibly clean, the bed was comfy, the shower was spacious, and the kitchen was fully stocked and had very modern appliances. The bedroom and the living room also each had air conditioning units that worked so well at keeping the place at a cool and comfortable temperature for us. We loved the hot tub, the deck and patio, and the little firepit area. The curtains we could use around the deck were really nice to make the area a little more private, especially once it was dark out. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a relaxing, quiet, and private place to get away. There are plenty of beautiful hiking areas and great restaurants nearby. Make sure to check out Calfkiller down the road and bring the growler Darcy has at the house. It’s a great spot!

This is THE place to be. It’s very close to local scenery and it’s perfect for a large group of friends. The neighborhood is quiet and the houses are far enough apart. We will definitely coming back! Everything in this house works well, nothing is broken and all the instructions we needed were clearly stated. It’s perfect! Definitely stay here if you can. If you’re on the fence about booking this place, THIS is your sign to go ahead and do it!

Lake N Logs was the perfect weekend getaway for our group! Everything was exactly as described—actually, even better. The photos didn’t do it justice—the views were absolutely incredible. Every amenity was thoughtfully provided, and the space was cozy, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. Faye was wonderful to communicate with and made everything seamless. We had zero issues and absolutely no complaints. It was the relaxing, peaceful, and much-needed weekend of reconnection we were all hoping for. Highly recommend!

The nearby waterfall we went to was beautiful and can not wait to come back to see more of the local nature. The host was extremely helpful with suggestion of sites and very responsive to questions. This little cabin was a peaceful home base for my wife and I’s hiking trip. It was always a treat to look forward to when coming home in the evenings, we’d cook, sit on the porch with some music and enjoy the hot tub after our hikes. Great place to go if you’re looking for a peaceful, safe respite from whatever busy-ness is in your life. Thanks to the Owners for being great hosts, it was exactly what we needed 👍
