Welcome to the Gite de La Roche. Come and relax in this green paradise where the only sounds are the music of running water and birdsong. Our gite is less than 500m from the Bort les Orgues lake on the River Dordogne. You can enjoy your stay in the middle of nature and all the activities we have to offer. Cycling, kayaks (for hire), fishing, swimming, hiking/walking (there are more than 50km of walking routes departing from the gite.) Close to La Bourboule, Le Sancy and the chain of volcanoes.

The jewel in the crown at Le Petit Bois is our Maison d'ami. Converted from the old stone farmhouse, bread oven & piggery, great care has been taken in retaining old beams, cobbled floors & original features, which, combined with the modern facilities of a walk-in shower room, fully equipped kitchen, outside under cover dining, secluded private patio, use of the nearby luxury pool & a pellet burner for colder months, offers couples the ideal romantic Corrèzian retreat at any time of the year.

Visit one of the many local villages and experience the delights of the Correze, relax by one of the nearby lakes (both swimming and fishing) or simply enjoy the garden and bbq area, the choice is yours. For those who prefer a little more energetic pursuits cycling and walking are very popular as is canoeing along the Vezere river.
