Lake house holiday rentals in Devils Lake

Mark’s home was perfect for all of us as usual! This was the second time staying with him and we will definitely be back! The guys had so much fun playing on the lake!

Scott was an excellent communicator, the cottage was extremely well equipped. Plenty of space, tons of entertainment options, spacious, clean, and comfortable. I only wish we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy the lake and activities. I would definitely recommend Scott’s place.

This lake house was so incredibly peaceful. It was out of the way and tucked back off of the main roads. We were very comfortable staying here. Tom was always responsive to any questions I may have. Accessing the house was super easy and directions were clearly stated. I would consider staying here again if I am back in the area. All of us slept so well!!!!

Our stay at the lake house was absolutely perfect. The scenery was breathtaking and we had every amenity available to us that we could have wanted. James and Jackie truly thought of everything. The house was warm, welcoming, clean and spacious. We are ver satisfied with our stay.

We loved being on the lake. It was very peaceful. We saw frogs, a beaver, swans, many kinds of birds. The game room was nice and we enjoyed carpet ball. The mother-in-law suite was nice. We took a nurse for our granddaughter so the nurse had her own space and our family had our privacy too. The peddle boat and kayaks were a plus. We tried some area restaurants that were good. All in all a great place!

Joanne was hands down the best host I've ever had on Airbnb! I've stayed at several lovely places before, but Joanne truly went above and beyond. Her home is beautifully curated and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Her communication was warm, responsive, and incredibly accommodating throughout my stay. The location is just as amazing—gorgeous river views, a peaceful patio, and a spotless hot tub, all right in the heart of downtown Dexter. Staying at Joanne’s place was such a treat, and it’s definitely a trip I’d take again. Thank you, Joanne, for making it so special! :)

This cabin on Clark Lake is amazing! We rented this place to celebrate a 40th birthday with family and friends and it was everything we wanted! Steps to the water, and the owner just put in a new dock which is awesome which has a spot at the end for chairs and fishing off the dock. We opted to rent the pontoon along with the cabin and this was the absolute best decision we could have made! Having the pontoon right at the cabin was a game changer! The boat is in great condition and Jenny and her family are very friendly and helpful and accommodating! Highly highly recommend renting the pontoon along with the cabin. As for the cabin itself, it was perfect for what we needed. We had several people in and out all weekend and we had plenty of room for them to stay the night. The three seasons back deck is where we spent most of our time eating and playing games with our guests! Kevin the host was very welcoming and flexible with check in and out. We are looking forward to returning!!

This house made it feel like we was at home. The beds were very comfy and clean. There were many extra blankets under the couch which was very nice to have. The deck is very big and enough room for many people and came with a beautiful view of the lake!

This home is great! We would definitely love to stay here again! The host has many extras to make sure you have anything you might need to prepare a meal (any kitd of spice you can imagine, many pots and pans many small appliances, etc.). This home has everything your personal home would have which makes it very nice. The game room downstairs was a favorite of the kids! I would highly recommend this home!

Ellie was very responsive. She was quick to fix a problem. The house was very nice. Comfy beds! Lots of little touches which was so nice. There was a goody basket in the bathroom with lots of toiletries in case you forgot items. That was so nice! The kitchen was well stocked. We very much enjoyed our stay!

We loved the lake, the canoe, kayaks, and paddleboat. Super relaxing and very well kept. House was very clean, air conditioning was nice and cold, and we found hiking and biking to be enjoyable. Great experience.

This lake house was perfect for our weekend getaway! It was clean, comfy, and has a great setup. Instructions on check in/check out were easy to follow. All amenities listed were provided, and more. The lake is basically right outside the front door making the view fantastic! Shawna was very quick to respond to questions and super friendly. We will definitely be returning next year for another stay.

The bottle of wine was unexpected 🥂 We also enjoyed taking in the town, dinner at Atlas (a must) as well as the Cherry Creek winery and the antique stores filled my husband's heart. Thank you again!

The location on the lake is very beautiful. The back deck is covered and perfect for relaxed summer dining. Tricia has kayaks and life jackets to use which we put to good use! It’s a quick trip to the boat launch, and the dock is available for tying up if you bring your own boat. There are sidewalks for walking to the store or restaurant. The bottom is sandy not mucky. Tricia was fantastic about attending immediately to a minor repair. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable if you are working from home. For a small cottage it is remarkably spacious. She has baby gates if need extra reassurance for toddlers. All in all it was a wonderful stay and went by far too fast😍

We had a great stay at Whitmore Lake! The house was very cozy, and the bed extremely comfortable. It was amazing to have a campfire by the river and enjoy the fall weather.

Kevin and Dawn were excellent hosts! Their place was beautiful and filled with lots of amenities! We especially loved the actual mattresses available for extra bedding. The neighbors were very nice and accommodating too! The kids loved the kayaks and being be the water! We plan to come back again next year!

Our stay was everything we could've hoped for and more for a relaxing time away. This home was very clean and well cared for. Having the lake literally in the back yard for our personal use anytime we wanted was the icing on the cake. The views from both the open downstairs and master bedroom were very peaceful and serene. We enjoyed a couple mornings watching the cranes have their breakfast off the docks. Just too many good things to be able to note them all. Both Erica and James were very helpful and responsive before our trip and several times throughout our stay. You can tell they love their lake home and take pride in sharing it with others.

George's place was well maintained and thoughtfully stocked. There was a nice grocery store less than 10 min drive away for whatever we wanted to cook ourselves. The game room was fun and great for rainy days. The only minor inconvenience was that two of the beds were very tall. I suspect the frames were not made for the tall boxsprings that were in them. I am 5ft 8 and the tops of the mattresses were just below my belt. It was a climb for all of us, especially the shorter people in our group. So if your family has shorter, or elderly people, getting in and out may need to be planned for.

Great house on the lake with easy access beach for small children. Lots of room for several guests. Kitchen is great to accommodate big family gatherings. We would definitely stay again.

The house was beautiful. The owner put lots of thought in what their guests might need …. It was stocked with all the essentials and luxury items too. We really enjoyed being right on the lake. We’ll definitely be back.

Great place, as advertised! Elaine, the host, was very communicative and helpful. The whole place was stylishly decorated, clean, and comfortable. Loved the spacious bedrooms (and comfortable beds), open floor plan in the kitchen-dining-living room area, and having the 2 full bathrooms and extra entertainment area in the garage. We spent a lot of time in the garage, which has really comfortable outdoor cushioned seating, an extra refrigerator, and games. Had a great stay! Easy check-in and check-out.

Loved this place! Perfect for a group, between the very comfortable arrangements to the plentiful and clean bathrooms, we loved our stay here and can’t wait to come here again. Mary was very helpful and accommodating, instructions were very easy to follow, everything was very clean and comfortable, and the living room/patio provided an amazing view of the lake!

My husband and his family grew up in the area and finally got to see inside of it! Ken did an amazing job creating a charming place that incorporated the history of the school house. Would love to stay again
