A place that breathes. We were allowed to stay in an old coachman stone house – and it was like diving into another world. Surrounded by a stone beech and imposing castle ruins that watches over the grounds like a quiet guardian, we immediately felt safe. The breathtaking wide view from above into the countryside. It was as if time was flowing more slowly. We slept like the marmots. Outside the door of the very well-known botanical garden and various hiking trails.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mario's, including the quality of the hospitality and the daily care we received. The proximity of the tram is perfect for enjoying the calm of this neighborhood while enjoying a very flexible mode of transport to get to the city center and beyond (transport provided 24/7 and with a very good frequency). The accommodation is perfectly equipped, very cozy and totally independent of the owners' accommodation although located upstairs. The garden is very pretty and was beautifully decorated for the holidays. We highly recommend this property where we will gladly return. Thanks to our lovely hosts! Laurent and Mathilde

Accommodation: The accommodation is an attic apartment. The apartment is beautifully bright and large, with many windows and wooden floors. Everything is sparkling clean, the kitchen is well equipped with stove, microwave, coffee and tea maker (a paring knife would have been great). In addition, the apartment has a SmartTV, with which you can, for example, log into your Netflix or Prime account. We especially liked the huge balcony with a great view. Our children were very happy that you could watch cows, chickens and budgies in the neighborhood. Host: Kerstin is a great hostess. We are used to being warmly welcomed in Saxony and Kerstin has confirmed this once again in a special way. Surroundings: There is a small village shop within walking distance that sells fresh bread rolls and the essentials. Otherwise, there is a (free) zoo with a great playground in the village.
