Guest house holiday rentals in Durham

This place was peaceful and easy to travel in and out of for us to visit relatives in the area. The hosts were very responsive and provided recommendations in the area. It was also nice seeing their horse and chickens.

Such a nice little space and easy to access. We stayed here to run errands a few days before our wedding and it was perfect. They even allowed a late check out to help us out! Was bigger than expected.

It was a lovely and peaceful location, especially as a quiet retreat to get work done. Also had no idea that Carrboro was such a great town.

Marianne’s spot was super accessible, super cozy, and super accommodating. Marianne herself was wonderful and greeted us as we arrived. It was our first time staying at a bnb where the host was attached to the space but it was a wonderful stay and we’d totally stay again next time we’re in the triangle. Very solid if you need a chill little overnight.

I had a wonderful stay at Mary's guesthouse! The space was clean, cozy, and felt like a true home away from home. The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of appliances, pans, tools etc. which made cooking easy. The property itself is absolutely beautiful. Mary's gardens made for a peaceful and relaxing setting. The location is in a quiet rural area, however it's conveniently close to shops, restaurants, and centrally located to Durham, Hillsborough, and Roxboro. Mary was an exceptional host — warm, friendly, and very accommodating. She made sure I had everything I needed and was always available if I had any questions. I highly recommend Mary's guesthouse to anyone looking for a comfortable and serene place to stay.

This is the third time that we have stayed at Christina's to visit family in nearby Saxapahaw as well as friends in Chapel Hill and Hillsborough. The place is comfy, cozy, plenty of room for 2 or 3 folks and well-appointed with a Keurig and some light breakfast bars. We are very appreciative of the nice linens and the beautiful surroundings of Alamance County. TTT

Loved staying at Donna’s. Appreciated her communication and the little amenities, ie a Diet Coke in the fridge when we arrived. Loved the getaway!

Lisa was a phenomenal host! Her place is a true gem. The space was spotless and had all of the necessary amenities my husband and I needed for our stay. Check in was extremely easy and the place was in a quiet neighborhood with walking distance to the cutest down town with local shops and awesome restaurants. Lisa was very responsive and always available if needed! By far the best place we have ever stayed.

This little cottage was adorable. We were in town for our grandson's graduation. It was a perfect location at only 1.2 miles from our daughter's house. The home had everything we needed for our 1 week stay . The side porch has a beautiful jasmine archway. They were in bloom and smelled wonderful. We even had a wonderful firefly show one evening. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a separate building on the host's property, but feels very private the way things are arranged. The inside is super nice, especially the bedroom, and it has everything you need to feel cozy and relaxed. My only complaint is that there was not much natural light in the living room, but there is ample outdoor space to make up for that!

We keep coming back to Cari’s place whenever we’re in Raleigh. It’s become our home away from home. Cari consistently makes it very comfortable to stay here.

It was a great stay at this beautiful place. Felt like at home. Everything is new, good condition, bathroom super clean and new! Everything was nice and neat. Organized would definitely come back and recommend to others.

Camille's "Meelie Doll" is a true home-away-from-home. The apartment is set in a quiet, leafy neighborhood, with a well-lit parking area set back from the road. The walkway around to the back of the garage where the stairs to the apartment are located is also well-lit and protected by well-placed security cameras. It all feels very safe. Inside, Camille has equipped the apartment with everything you could need during your stay. I was there for two weeks visiting my son and his wife and their new baby, who live nearby, and I did not need any supplies replenished during that time. It was especially nice to find a homemade lemon cake and some cookies awaiting me on the dining table. The QS bed is comfy and the bed linens are soft and cozy. It was very easy to get a good night's sleep there! The kitchen has all needed utensils and the fridge/freezer is large enough for the needs of a family. The living room has cozy chairs and the A/C keeps the place cool. In all, a lovely place!

Tess and Benji are wonderful hosts, and the apartment was absolutely perfect for a quick stay for my wife and I. Super clean and new, all the comforts we needed, including fresh veggies!! Thank you Tess 😀 Tess was very accommodating for a slightly later checkout, which was so appreciated. Definitely will book again next visit to Durham!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. A short drive from great restaurants and downtown Raleigh. Friendly and safe neighborhood. Ryan's place was comfortable and clean.

Wow! This place is truly exceptional. It is a perfect place for a couple to stay close to downtown Cary, basically a block from the park and Bark Bar. Everything you might need is provided, whether you’re staying a couple nights or much longer. The hosts provide plenty of little extras like an extensive supply of coffee pods, a tray of snacks, extra pillows, etc. The neighborhood is very walkable, though you’ll probably need a car to get to a supermarket. It’s been noted by others that the unit is guarded by a steep set of stairs, but if you can overcome that obstacle, you’re in for a treat. This place is so good that we’ll probably plan future trips around its availability.

Staying here was better than a home away from home; it was like staying with your favorite family who welcome you in AND give you all the space and privacy you could want. Plus they let you bring your pup! This lovely apartment was perfect for hanging out with a couple of friends and easy to get anywhere in the RDU area. We loved floating in the pool and soaking in the hot tub tucked away in their fenced backyard. Towels were thick and plentiful; separate ones for swimming and showering was a wonderful luxury. We had everything we needed to cook dinner and watch a movie one night on the enormous TV. I haven't seen so many DVDs in one place since Blockbuster! When we wanted to play cards, two brand new decks were promptly delivered to us as well as extra barstools. The beds were so comfortable and the linens were as soft as could be. The bathroom was fully stocked- I was delighted to not have to run out to get shampoo, conditioner and body wash that I'd forgotten to pack!

It is absolutely perfect in every way!

Great “home base” for a couple of days in Durham: nestled in a quiet neighborhood yet still centrally-located, within walking distance of everything downtown and at Duke. Loft is equipped with desk and setup for remote work. Clean, lots of light, strong AC, spacious closet and shower—hard to think of anything this place didn’t have!

This was a great stay. A thoroughly modern over-garage apartment. Lots of thoughtful amenities and the location was great - close to downtown but with a inner suburb feel. Many restaurants, coffee shops, and stores nearby. The heated plunge pool and beautiful back yard space were a definite plus. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. We would gladly stay here again.

any questions we had were answered in record time. we met Angie and her family upon arrival and they are the nicest people. they made us feel very welcome and went above and beyond to make sure everything was to their standards. I'll definitely be staying here again the next time I'm in North Carolina!!

Natalia was a great host. She responded and communicated well. I asked two questions during my stay. I appreciate Natalia's quick response and willingness to help. The place was neat and clean. I was very comfortable during my stay. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, free of excessive traffic, but conveniently within a 3–5-minute drive to grocery store, restaurants, & convenience stations. I will definitely want to stay here again next time I am in the area.

We enjoyed getting to stay at Larry & Sandra's place in Raleigh for an extended weekend trip! The place itself felt private and was in a nice quiet area, and it was only a short drive from pretty much everything we did in Raleigh. Best of both worlds getting to enjoy being close to everything but also having a quiet place to come rest at. Everything inside was clean and exactly as described and we felt right at home. The property that this place sits on is very well kept up with, beautiful backyward waterfall setup and lots of flowers everywhere, it's easy to see Larry and Sandra take pride in their place! They also checked in with us upon arrival to make sure everything went smoothly, super nice folks! Thank you for letting us stay here, we really enjoyed it!
