Have you always wanted to stay on an estate with a special family history? Then come to Landgoed Overcingel. Experience the peace and quiet ,which was normal at the time, in a modern way. In 2024, this estate was transferred from a centuries-old family tradition to the Drenths landscape. Partly in order to preserve the estate, it has been decided to partly convert this into an atmospheric B&B Come stay with the cozy hostess who welcomes you and makes your stay as comfortable as possible.

Jeanette's Place

Vrijstaand, rustig gelegen compleet uitgerust guesthouse op zonnepanelen. Eigen toegang, terras en tuin. Ontbijt voor 1 nacht incl. Aan de achterkant zit u in het buitengebied en loopt u zo door de landerijen. Viswater, fiets- en wandelroutes. Fietsen beschikbaar. Eigen fietsen kunnen op het terrein staan. Vrij parkeren op straat. 30 Min rijden naar Groningen, Assen, Emmen. Het winkelcentrum van Stadskanaal ligt 4.6 km verderop, zie afbeelding extra foto's, de Spar 3 km. verderop.

Price: incl. breakfast + Wifi! Lots of nature with walking / cycling opportunities. There is a car charging station at 800 m. 7984 NM. Tea and Senseo unit included. Lunch E 5,- Dinner E12.50 ask about the possibilities and pass on diet/wishes. In addition to the extensive breakfast, which is included, fresh baked bread rolls and filtercoffee with backed eggs can be prepared by appointment at the agreed time. This service will be charged at 4,- p.p. extra upon departure.

A little shack.

Next to our monumental farm on the yard, this small accommodation is easy and not too expensive to stay in. Plumbing and a common area are located on the farm. The yard is adjacent to the Nienoord estate. Here you can hike and bike. The village is 2 minutes walking distance. A village where you can enjoy shopping and in the evening have a choice of several restaurants. The city of Groningen is by car 15 min away/bike 1 hour and by public transport 20 min.

Discover the best of Groningen and the surrounding villages from this cozy place in Sauwerd. Our B&B is tastefully and colorfully decorated and overlooks the garden. Go out to explore the charming countryside and the surrounding villages or enjoy a day in the bustling city of Groningen. Thanks to the fine train connection, you can be at Groningen Noord in five minutes and at Groningen Centraal in just ten minutes. Ideal for a relaxing and versatile stay!

Cozy apartment with private south facing terrace.

This comfortable apartment is the starting point for an unforgettable trip. You have an apartment with its own entrance, a private living room, bedroom and bathroom. South-facing terrace with lounge chairs and dining table. The apartment has a kitchenette with coffee and tea making facilities, microwave and refrigerator. The box spring bed in the bedroom is no less than 2.20 m long. The apartment is located on the national walking and cycling network.

holiday home 'The Robin'

A nice, cozy little house on the edge of the old center. Fully furnished, comfortable and fully equipped. Can be booked for a short or longer stay. On the first day, a partly organic, self-service breakfast will be ready for you. Supermarket nearby is at Meeuwerderweg 96-98 (open until 10 p.m./Sunday 8 p.m.) The B&B does not have its own parking space. Not far and the cheapest option is the Oosterpoort parking garage - street name is Trompsingel 23.

Chalet "Pear Blossom"

This rustic cottage in the large cottage garden of the "Willrathshof" can accommodate two to three people. The fantastic view from the terrace of the horse pastures lets you relax immediately! You also have the opportunity to stay with us in the straw. An adventure for young and old! Our farm is located directly on the Wadden Sea World Natural Heritage Site, through which you can walk with Watt'n Piet (Peter) to the island of Baltrum.

Beautiful, spacious house (130m2) from 1905 located on a quiet street. Very close to the city centre, train station, Groninger museum and Oosterpoort (10 min. walk). Ideal, luxurious and quiet B&B in characteristic street to explore the city Groningen. The house can accommodate up to 4 guests (2 bedrooms). Parking pass available for visitors on request and there are two bikes available for use.

Chateau Weiland is a lovely bright cottage with its own entrance plus views of the greenery. A good bed and nice shower. Equipped with all comforts such as well functioning internet (fiber optic) , an air conditioning,and a kitchenette. When the weather is nice, you can open the doors to the terrace and enjoy the sun on one of the sunbeds in the garden.
