The rural life, the expanses of the outer dyke as well as the large garden, in which fruit trees can also be found, invite you to slow down. From the upper floor you can look at the Elbe with its shipping traffic to and from Hamburg. Nestled between Cuxhaven and Stade, many small towns offer beautiful routes and opportunities for shopping and lingering, also for cyclists and motorcyclists.

Located on the dike of the Stör river, near Glückstadt, the Elbe estuary and the North Sea, you will find this mill. Experience the North German weather in this unusual accommodation. Inside is a modern apartment with up to 5 sleeping options. There are 2 separate bedrooms and 1 extra bed in one of the bedrooms.

The apartment is about 100 m², has 2 rooms, kitchen and bathroom. It is on level ground and has its own entrance. It has its own terrace and is located to the south side of the house. The rooms are furnished with antique furniture. Kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, fridge. The bathroom has a large corner bath and a double sink. In the living room is a large flat screen. And many shelves with books to suit every taste.

Right on the edge of the Hullen bird sanctuary in Nordkehdingen lies the small town of Balje. An agricultural area full of nature. The small thatched house on Deichstraße has a lot of history behind it and was completely renovated and newly expanded by me last year. The house is nestled in a natural garden. Apple trees, cherry trees, currant and jostaberry bushes create a nice feel-good atmosphere.

I offer a vacation apartment with an area of approximately 80 square meters. The apartment is equipped with attention to detail and invites you to feel good. It is located in the attic of our apartment building. Due to its location between the Elbe and Geest and its proximity to the lock town of Brunsbüttel (about 7 km), it serves as a good starting point for activities nearby.

The old thatched cottage dates back to the 1620s and accordingly has many peculiarities which convey its charm, including a lot of unique furniture, both designer pieces and heirlooms, which creates a charming mix of tradition and modernity.
