New B&B in Groningen What was first used as a warehouse has been transformed into a B&B of no less than 75 m2 with the appearance of a loft, on the outskirts of Groningen. The newly built warehouse 14 is 4 km away from the city center. Loods 14 is located between two Groningen waters, namely the Damsterdiep and the Eemskanaal. Villa Selva is situated on our 1,5ha property on the edge of Loppersum. In this cosy cottage (the 'villa' of its name is slightly overstated) you'll find a living-/dining room, a small kitchen and bathroom with shower. There is one bedroom with one double and one single bed and the open attic has a second double bed. The cottage has small private terrace and garden facing south. On clear nights millions of stars twinkle overhead and the moonshine is so bright, you can read a book in it.

In 2024, this estate was transferred from a centuries-old family tradition to the Drenths landscape. Partly to preserve the estate, it was decided to partially convert it into an attractive B&B. Deze fijne kamer is gebouwd in een schuur en heeft een eigen douche en toilet. Op tien minuten rijden van de Waddenzee. Geen strand dus maar dijken met schapen erop. Wel een paar opgespoten nepstrandjes én de veerdienst naar Borkum voor het echte werk. Wakker worden met kakelende kippen onder je raam. Houtkachelwarm, met ondersteuning van een elektrisch kacheltje. Bij voorkeur geen werknemers, tenzij..... Honden welkom tegen kleine vergoeding.
