Welcome to our cottage in Mönkebude – Mönke's Kate und Meer – on the Szczecin Lagoon of the Baltic Sea Our listed cottage by the sea is at your disposal for your relaxation. The cottage was built around 1850 as an extension for the former large barn house of a fishing family from Mönkebude and was used for living until around 1982. Today, our guests relax between the old half-timbered walls made of bricks, clay-plastered walls and under the beautiful thatched roof on about 80 square meters of living space.

The house is situated alone in a sea of fields, surrounded by the wind in a fantastic perennial garden. With the help of many artist colleagues and friends, this formerly unspectacular guesthouse from the 1990s was converted and renovated into a small oasis and a garden was created with the help of landscape designer Rainer Elstermann. Our little red brick house is and has always been an oasis to rest, relax, cook and dine well with friends, or just enjoy the Uckermark as a couple. This should continue to be the case and therefore we want guests who also like to enjoy it as much as we do. Enjoyment includes two bicycles, several small swimming lakes in the area, a bathtub from grandma's time ... and a garden that invites you to relax.
