Wortshaus: Illustration & apartment with sauna

The apartment (since mid-July 2020) is small, lovingly and specially furnished with clay-plastered walls, hand-painted bricks on the floor, favorite pictures and furniture. It borders the house that we live in as a family with children on an old three-sided farm. There are no direct neighbors, lots of nature and you can make beautiful excursions in all directions by bike or car: Baltic Sea, islands, Stralsund, Greifswald, Rostock, Mecklenburg Lake District, Peene, Tollense...

Guest apartment in the manor house

Relax with us, linger in the estate park and enjoy the time. The approx. 65 m² apartment is located on the east side on the upper floor of the historic manor house, which is gradually being reconstructed. Guests are welcome to use the terrace. A grill is available for the evening, and there is a fireplace. Via our orchard you can reach the Trebel, where you can fish, experience nature or use a paddle boat. Bassendorf is a rural idyll that you can reach via a 2 km long avenue.

Cozy vacation apartment in the manor house near the Baltic Sea (Stralsund about 20 km, Zingst / Fischland Darß about 35 km). The modern apartment (about 40 m²) has a small kitchenette, TV, Wi-Fi, double bed, dining area - ideal for 2 people. The manor house is idyllically located in a small village, offers rural tranquility and at the same time proximity to the Baltic Sea. Pool and sauna use by arrangement – perfect for relaxing after excursions to the beach or the region.

It feels like you are at the edge of the world here, a garden full of trees with a view of the Mecklenburg prairie. The apartment has its own entrance and garden area. 4 sheep and 5 cats inhabit the large garden. 2 e-bikes can be rented. Wood-burning stove sauna & hot pot are available for a fee. The village of Barlin is a very nice place to vacation with horses and a playground. Forest and lakes are close. We former Berliners live next door as a family.

With us you will find a very nice, individual apartment with its own small garden and a wooden terrace to enjoy the sun, the day and the evening. You have a seperate entrance. We are located in a single-family housing estate on the outskirts of the small town of Barth. Shopping is a 5-minute walk away. Gastronomy is abundant. You can reach the sea in 45 minutes by bike and in 15 minutes by car. Travel time Ferry from the port of Barth to Zingst about 45 minutes.

On an original farm, we have lovingly created a vacation home to dream of. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place to be! A large garden invites you to linger. In the evening you can sit comfortably by the fire or read a book on the comfortable couch with a glass of wine. From Groß Markow you can explore the surroundings by bike or by car. The place lies between Lake Kummerow and Lake Teterow. The Baltic Sea can be reached in just an hour.

Surrounded only by meadows and fields, hidden behind the village pond, lies the small manor estate with its main house and old stables. For the past five years, we’ve been carefully restoring it, breathing new life into the 1899 estate. On the upper floor of the manor house – a brick building typical for the region – a spacious, light-filled 114 sqm apartment is waiting for you. The old beams are visible once again. The interior is simple and doesn’t distract.

Kick back and relax in this quiet, stylish space. Ideal for one to two people to spend time together, cook, read, go for walks, and go on excursions. The guest apartment is idyllically located in a rural and charming environment. The bright nights from May to July are a real treat! The starry sky is sometimes breathtaking. The transport connection by car is very good: A20 in 11 minutes, Stralsund in 25 minutes, Baltic Sea beach in 45 minutes.

Winter Special: Ice swimming in a swimming pond at a water temperature of 2 degrees Celsius 🥶. The Alte Försterei is located in the middle of nature on the edge of the forest - ideal for enjoying peace and quiet. The apartment is very cozy and open. In the winter, it is particularly nice to enjoy the fire after a trip to Rügen or Usedom. In the evening, in the clear sky, it is worth going outside and admiring the stars in the deep darkness.
